I’ll never understand why Jeff Cup is some sort of March tuneup instead of a mid-May to early June tourney. Just kidding, the clubs have to divide up their piddling cash cow tourneys throughout the year…

It would be great to have Jeff cup later in the spring season. I find my boys are usually in better form toward the end the season.

+1... maybe Jeff Cup schedules then because of showcases,national competitions,HS sports, etc... you know more teams...more money

Also, why would they screw with something THAT big. It clearly is working for them with 4 weekends in a row of Richmond being kind of the east coast soccer world.

No thanks. The timing is perfect for high school and at the younger ages, teams start to fall apart after spring tryouts.
