It is downpouring. How have your games been affected thus far? My kid has a grass match up at SAC tomorrow and I cannot imagine it will happen, but its at 8am and we have not heard anything.
Any word from SAC/Virginian/Potomac mud pit/Cannon/What else am I missing? |
| The only thing we heard was SAC banned tents for safety reasons due to high wind alert |
| Covenant has a bunch of grass fields. I guess we would have heard in our early morning game by now. They still owe us money for a two team no show from last year. |
| My son going to attend Potomac with grass at Muldoon fields. No cancellation yet lol |
There were a few tents set up at my kid's 6:45 game at Covenant yesterday. Not sure if the ban may have happened after that, though. The 8:15 games definitely had worse weather - it was absolutely pouring - but they all seemed to continue as scheduled, at least while we were still there. |
| My son is playing in the Virginian. He’s on turf fields so I don’t expect any impact…but this is such a shitty weather weekend! |
| Rain doesnt stop travel soccer. Rec soccer yes, travel, no. Buy a raincoat. Pack towels. You’ll be fine |
| Cannon cup canceled all games on grass fields |
| Williamsburg tournament is canceled. |
Nope Still playing but games being moved to turf. My guess is some games were/will be cancelled as they try to get as many onto turf as possible but won’t be able to accommodate all brackets. |
All age groups were canceled except for 3 older kid groups. |
Our friends on 2015B are still playing. Long road trip so I hope they get it in. |
| Our 2015B games in Williamsburg all got canceled |
| These are the moments where I question my sanity… from PDA in NJ. |
MYS 2010 girls GA team beat PDA's ECNL team earlier today
