| They hate Jesus because he was right about them never seeing peace and their temple was going to be destroyed by the Romans. |
What a joke. They were ordered to destroy everything. |
lol sure. There is no way this will happen. Israel is critically short of soldiers and does not believe in Jesus. |
|
I kind of got Israel pummeling Gaza after the attack- but this image is going to crush people like me who were (at best) indifferent to them.
Now it really seems like the IDF are just dicks. |
Apparently, many American "Christians" don't believe in Jesus, either. |
Being a dick is a pre-requisite to being a zionist. |
I'm the same. Totally understand why Israel would go after and destroy Hamas after the massacres on 10/7. Zero issue there. But Israel has chosen sloppy cruelty everywhere. The IDF is not a competent military. They killed more than 75,000 people in Gaza and absolutely leveled it. Most of those killed were women and children. And now they are taking southern Lebanon and they are so, so enthusiastic about taking Maronite Christian towns - and bashing statues of Jesus. I don't give a damn about anyone's religious beliefs. But Israel in 2026 is a nightmare. |
I read three Hebrew-language papers a day, including Israel Hayom, which is way more right of center than my personal politics. All of them have condemned this act. It's true that they have framed it more as fault of a single soldier and not as a systemic issue across the IDF, but it's been pretty universally seen by the press as a moral failure that reflects badly on the country as a whole. There was also a fair bit of shock about how quick and how loudly Netanyahu and Zamir spoke out against it. And for the record, if you have questions about how Israeli Hebrew-language press is covering things, you can read it yourself, rather than speculate. Just go to any website and tell Chrome to translate the page. It's really that easy, try it: https://www.israelhayom.co.il/ |
You “got” the decimation and slaughter of Palestinians including actual Christians over generations and bombing one of the oldest churches in Christianity? You’re about as Christian as dogsh*t is caviar. None of you filth in the west should be calling yourself Christians if you support anything going on over there on the land of Christ or are “indifferent m” to the slaughter of so many children, you absolute psychopath. |

DCUM skews older and a bit more soulless and uninformed. Yes, I've been on here long enough to see how many of you are so ancient in your news consumption that you still stupidly grasp onto "it started on Oct 7," and just ignore that the day before was already the deadliest year for Palestinian children (on the West Bank alone), while mocking social media as if the actual footage over years now is all "propaganda." Thankfully, most of the world isn't as disgustingly ignorant and callous as this place.
It's odd anyone thinks a statue (or the fake apology) means anything to normal humans who've watched these savages pose with pictures of the toys and dressing up in the lingerie of their victims. They cannot wait to mock the pain of their victims. The pictures of having their sabbath dinners in the bombed out homes of their victims. The pictures of installing giant menorahs because we're the ones who have to keep protecting the feelings of the monsters who have defended all of this crap for 80 years. The trash who did what he did to the statue did it because the west full of "Christians," let him grow up believing that Israeli barbarism in every form, is permissible. He did nothing wrong because Israel was raised to believe they never do anything wrong. You can literally rape on video and there are no consequences. You can try and rape a child in Vegas and you get flown back to that demonic state w/ no consequences. The little sh*t soldier did what he was taught to do: Anything he wants. |
30 days in jail is a vacation compared to being in combat. Maybe the soldier did it on purpose to get reprimanded and removed from the army. Jesus would not care about his statue getting torn down as much as He would care about the heads and limbs of children getting blown off every second, or entire families getting crushed and burned alive by missiles |
They have been ordered to bulldoze every building and destroy everything in Southern Lebanon. He was following those orders. It wasn't an accident or a rogue soldier. I'm sure there were many other crucifixes demolished in those Christian towns. The only thing unusual is that this one was caught on film. |
Yes, this is a war crime. These people should at minimum be facing a court-martial and a dishonorable discharge. Apparently, there were at least six other soldiers that also committed a war crime because they didn't report this war crime. Also, further investigation would probably reveal that they were committing other war crimes which they paused in order to commit this war crime. To contrast. Last week, the IDF court-martialed three women for wearing a tank top or a skirt when they showed up to be discharged from the IDF. https://www.timesofisrael.com/idf-court-martials-female-troops-who-showed-up-for-discharge-in-tank-tops-short-skirt/ This is what they were wearing:

IDF replaces smashed crucifix in Lebanon, bans and jails 2 troops

So the genocidal ethnostate can just replace whatever they desecrated with whatever they want. Blood money? This looks nothing like the cross that was destroyed and it doesn't even look like it's designed to be outside. And Jesus looks to be 9-12 inches tall here vs the original that was at least 4 feet tall. And it begs the question: which Christian home did they kill the residents so that they could steal this from? And I'd love to see the condition of the other trees and buildings 100 feet to the left, right, and behind the person who took this photo. |

Funny how Netanyahu had to issue an apology about the destruction of a statue but remain completely silent after destroying a synagogue in Iran and numerous churches in Lebanon
