The cast doesn't know who the lead will be when they are apply and are cast for the show. Casting puts together a group of men / women that they think will get ratings and views and that fit into roles production wants and who will work well with producers and story tellers. They have a pool of talent that they pull from for the casting. The men / women find out they have been cast and then later find out who the lead will be when it is made public which in this case was about a month before the first day of filming. Sure they could have pulled out but by then they have signed contracts, assigned producers, and are part of the franchise machine. |
| Isn't this the same ratchet ho single mom who was going to swinger parties with neighborhood tiktok hos? This woman is disgusting. |
|
Does this woman have a college degree and/or any career before tiktok and reality TV fame? What about her baby daddies?
It seems like she has arrested development. She's a 31 year old mom and the clips of her on social media are like that of a teen girl. I think social media addiction is rotting women's brains. |
Yes! Her biggest scandal isn't even her arrest for DV. It was the swinging scandal when she 'let it slip' that she and other Mormon TikTok women were all swapping partners in a 'soft' swinging arrangement with soft meaning everything but PIV. Then Taylor admitted she had actually cheated on her husband at the time and they divorced. Many of the other women denied they had ever been in any soft swinging arrangement and said this was just her making excuses for the cheating. She lost that friend group but the publicity from the MomTok scandal got her cast on SLoMW fr her messy drama. And she delivered as the first episode was about her arrest for the video in question. |
No one does these shows to find love. They just want their fleeting 15 minutes |
I doubt it. She was married at 21, had a baby at 22, another one at 25, and started her influencer career on TikTok at 26. Divorced at 28 due to cheating on her husband. The ex husband (Tate) apparently went to community college for business and has worked in sales. He has since remarried and has another child. Boyfriend (Dakota) apparently went to college on a basketball scholarship but developed an addiction to pain pills after an injury and this led to a drug addiction and heavy fentanyl use and many trips to rehab until he got sober in 2022. He runs a juice bar and food truck and apparently has family money. |
Some of them do though and that is what is supposed to make this show special. Some of the couples are still together. Taylor’s situation is too over the top to ask of some random candidates. If I had signed up to be on a contestant on the bachelor and I found out the lead had a DV charge after the fact I would not be comfortable with it. That charge is specifically inappropriate for a dating show. |
| I believe she was pulled. My son thought bachelorette getting fired was hilarious. Not sure if it’s true or he was joking |
The show wouldn’t exist without Taylor’s insane behavior. ABC has known who she was this whole time but as usual corporations just can’t resist that money. That is millions of dollars in the hole from this choice, so they are definitely paying for it now. |
Also come on, I'm not a single mom but can we please stop with the misogynist "What man wants a woman who's raising another man's kids" bullshit. There have been single moms on The Bachelor/Bachelorette for years now. |

Hi, I am the problem, it is me.

I feel so bad for her children.
She literally hit a 5 year old with a chair (aimed at the guy). She was committing domestic violence in front of her distraught child, which is so damaging. Tragic. (These oligarchs are disgusting yo clean up such criminals , and use them to gain ratings.) |
| If ABC wanted to switch things up and pick a celebrity they have a ton of b listers to chose from. They could use the same pool they use for dancing with the stars (taking out the ones with criminal records of course) this was way too risky. The show has to walk the line between trash tv and classy romance and they have their foot in Jerry Springer territory right now. |
| I don’t see that her child was hit with a chair? Is that in the video ? |
She still had had a large fan base after the DV arrest and it has only grown with the mess and drama. So I guess they thought it would be more of the same. Her posts about being the bachelorette did really well with a lot of likes and engagement. She brings entertainment via her drama and so far that has sold well. They weren’t taking a wild gamble, they were betting on someone who has had reality tv and social media success over the past few years. |
