They new about some DV allegiations before casting her. It's not a new thing.

They dropped the charges so maybe they thought it was fine? I enjoy a messy show but this is a little too intense for the bachelorette

They didn't drop the charges. She entered a plea deal. She pled guilty to 2 charges (aggravated assault and domestic violence in the presence of children) in return for a plea of abeyance where if she stayed completely out of trouble for 3 years, the charges would be dismissed.

The DV and chair throwing incidents in the video happened in 2023 and were discussed on the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives show. They were very well known.

I don’t think they ever said her child was hit by a chair and they made it seem like she got mad through a chair and that was it. That’s not what this video shows. It goes on and on she is clearly out of her mind. It’s extremely disturbing and sad. The thing is there have been recent domestic violence Allegations post filming so yes I believe ABC can sue her for her behavior. They’ll end up getting the show pulled. She’s over.

Yes, I did not watch the show precisely because of it. It was discussed at length. Shame on ABC. And the video is even worse than I imagined.

Oh yikes I didn’t know that. What on earth was ABC thinking. They wouldn’t have ever cast someone if it was a man with DV charges.

The police report from 2023 discusses this video and that the police watched it then - it was used as evidence for the charges. The same report also talks about the chair hitting the child. I knew about that a long time ago. Not sure how but it was out there. This was all known before they cast her. There is a new recent charge but it seems less violent than the video which ABC could have and may have watched before they cast her. I think they will still show it. People will watch.

I also think it is going to air. It’s not right, but there is a lot of money on the line. They will probably just set her up to be shamed on the final episode when they interview her and hope that absolves them.

I am sure the Men Tell All episode will be brutal. She got engaged on the show to a poor innocent dude even though she was still on again off again with Dakota and had slept with him the night she left for the show. She then went back to Dakota after she got home from the show after ditching her fiance as soon as filming was over.

CANCELLED, good! She was a horrible choice to begin with.

Millions of dollars gone and they probably already paid her for a show that is not going to air. What a screw up on ABCs part.

I was wrong. I am sure ABC had already seen the video before they cast her but the public hadn't and I guess public perspective has shifted too far for even ABC reality tv drama.

All those guys who gave up jobs and whatever else for exposure on the show...gone! Contracts probably allow for this but still a big let down for them. Being cast on a show that filmed but never aired isn't going to do much on the resume or for social media followers.

Yep. Serves the producers right for selecting her in the first place.

I don't mind that tbh. Too many thirsty people out there hoping for influencer careers. It's a little pathetic. Glad ABC did the right thing.

I for one was looking forward to watching this train wreck. The ratings would’ve been off the rails!

I think also knowing that the season was fake / a sham and that she was with her ex the whole time also played into it. Kind of hard to pretend the romance is real when everyone knows it isn't. And it would make the final guy look really stupid (not his fault).

I wonder if the cast can talk about her or if their NDAs will prevent it. She might have also gotten angry or aggressive on the show or come across as very vapid and dumb or just in it for clout.

Maybe we will still get a Men Tell All for the drama.

This woman will never be mentioned by ABC again. They will probably cut her out of Mormon wives.
