| Dartmouth is a great school but the sky isn’t falling. Try looking at some very good LACs like Colgate or Holy Cross both of those schools like Dartmouth have strong athletic programs and great alumni networks. Gate and HC have Jan 15th RD deadlines. Good Luck. |
Lmao these shit tier schools. Apply to Williams. |
No overlap between holy cross and Dartmouth admits. I wouldn’t recommend some catholic school over another more representative liberal arts college. |
| Does Williams have electricity yet- out in the far middle of nowhere. |
Jealousy really doesn’t suit you well. |
| Turned down Dartmouth opted for a better school. One has to like really long long winters with not much spring. Colgate and Holy Cross would be good safeties for Dartmouth. If can’t get into Dartmouth won’t get into Williams. |

| It’s a balmy 11 degrees in Hanover now. No thanks. |
| DS got in unhooked, midwest public that has zero ivy interest and zero ivy admits. Valed., two sports, leadership, internship, regular kid job, no awards, nm comended, 15 APs, 35 ACT |
?? What a strange response. |
Stop it. |
Sorry this happened. I don’t think that “one and done” matters at all for schools that allow superscore. All 5s don’t matter that much either at schools that are more holistic in review. It’s the exceptional ECs, essays, and recommendation letters that can actually help an applicant’s chances. It’s tough to stand out academically when so many applicants have similar stats. Differentiating yourself is really important at these highly rejective schools. |
