I have a 21-year-old daughter in college.

If I were in OP's situation, I would insist on my daughter having her own apartment.

It does not exactly look classy for a 20-year-old young lady to be living with her boyfriend. He may be "Mr. Right," and so she should treat the relationship with care -- meaning do not make herself too available. It looks a bit desperate for a young lady of 20 to be basically living with her boyfriend.

It sounds like you've already helped to move up from blue collar to middle class. Help your daughter aspire to even higher than that, through classy behavior.
