Why did the GOP make the TEMPORARY tax cuts for the wealthy permanent? |
| Sounds like the shutdown will be over this week? |
The senate has been talking all weekend. Thune seems to think the Dems will support his latest proposal. But if it doesn’t extend the Obamacare credit it’s not clear why the Dems would. |
| The house hasn't been reconvened right? |
And Johnson claims they did their job by passing the 7-week CR and wouldn't reconvene until the Senate passed it. Would be nice to see him backtrack. |
House is supposed to meet tomorrow at noon so will he or won't he or won't he swear in Grijalva? I am betting that he comes up with some lame excuse not to swear her in. If he does then Jeffries should do it as Minority to leader |
Nobody is trying to convince Trump of anything. The man's brain is gone. The people who need convincing are the ones who will be voting in the next election. |
Those tax cuts added trillions to the debt and did nothing for America. |
They appear convinced. Check out the November 4 results. |
Cute. But this is not true no matter how many times you say it. Schumer and crew offered a completely reasonable offer to end the shutdown, fund subsidies for a year, and convene a bipartisan HC panel with a vote guaranteed in a year. Republicans said no. That's on them. |
Poor little you and your 1st world problems. There are people starving all around this world. No one cares about the potential for your flights being cancelled. |
There's nothing as permanent as a temporary government program. |
Gah! nice turn on the 'Ol but you're not even starving meme. |
Exactly. Oh no! I can't get my nails done... the sky is falling!! |
Explain to me how removing tax cuts for the billionaires would contribute to the national debt? If we get taxes from them, that's money into the treasury |
