I'll be enjoying watching them squirm.

I won't be enjoying it, but cuddling up with MAGA if you aren't lilly white and your family hasn't been here for generations isn't a good idea.

If people haven't figured this out by now, it's on them.

The fact that you know the student body is 24% Asian is the root of the problem itself. Who is keeping tabs on the student body demographics and why are they doing so? The student body should be made up of the most qualified applicants. Period, end of discussion. If that means the student body is 98% Asian or 2% Asian, so be it. Being "Asian" should not be a qualifying or disqualifying factor.

It's just astonishing to hear of ethnicity being something taken into consideration when people are applying for anything in 2025. What is wrong with these people?

Wtf. Do you're saying its astonishingly evil, horrible and discriminatory to merely report basic demographics??? Aside from failing to answer the question and articulate how Asians were supposedly discriminated against... You've failed massively in your faux outrage here.

I'm saying I could care less if the percentage of Asians in a college student body is zero or 100%. All I care about is ethnicity not being a factor in determining an applicant's worthiness. This is the viewpoint of someone who isn't a bigot. You should try it.

Doesn't mesh with the bogus rhetoric about how the liberal elite are supposedly racists who hate Asians so you find some other bogus thing to complain about. Lame.

There are groups of people who have been discriminated against since the inception of this country. Bigotry may not be as prevalent as it once was but it still exists. Only in your MAGA pea-brain can bigotry be "bogus".

Why would anyone care what MAGA thinks about something that pertains to college? If Harvard is 100% Asian because the top applicants were 100% Asian, so be it. You aren't going to change what is right and what is wrong by worrying about what "MAGA" idiots might think.

DP The high number of Asians at American colleges are not American Asians. They are foreigners students. China alone graduates 7 million vs 3.9 million in the US in 2025. Trump has said he will allow 600,000 Chinese college students in to the US this year. That is 8% of Chinese graduates for the year.

All the slots at the top ten colleges in the US could easily be filled by Chinese students.

Your conflating two matters that shouldn't be conflated. Applicants should not be discriminated against or receive preferential treatment due to irrelevant identity characteristics when applying for anything in this country. How many student visas are issued annually and to who they are issued is a different topic.

Once Harvard gets to be a certain percentage Asians, Asians are not going to want to go there anymore, they will begin to see the schools that elite white students go to as the new aspiration.

That's all fine and dandy. Everyone should freely apply to any school of their choice and no applicant should be discriminated against or given preferential treatment based on irrelevant personal identity characteristics. We can all agree on this. Good night.

You are impressive. Both MAGA losers and left wing liberals keep trying to derail your argument and throw out red herrings and ignore your very true statements, - for very different reasons - and you don’t fall for it. You speak the truth. Of course colleges should be selecting students on merit alone. This shouldn’t even be a question.

99% of Americans are against bias and bigotry factoring into applications for anything and everything. The idiot 1% just have the loudest, most annoying voices.
