| Just two of us and we run it 2-3 times a week. |
Okay. Why are you running your dishwasher multiple times a day because of your pets? Do you cook for them? |
|
Family of 4. We at least run the dishwasher twice a day. Sometimes more than that if we are entertaining or have guests. We cook elaborate meals and we host a lot.
We also use a lot of pots and pans. |
|
Every night. Sometimes (but rarely) more than once a day, and I can remember a couple of times this year that it was 3x in a day.
3 adults, one kid, and one baby. At least 2 adults and the baby eat every meal at home, 90% home-cooked food, and bottles go through the dishwasher to be sterilized. It's a lot of dishes. |
So wasteful. |
It is not wasteful to run a half full dishwasher. You can use different settings for lighter loads. Learn about the features of your appliances. |
| When it gets full, so two to three times a week. Family of three. |
+1 what does this mean??? I have a pet but it does not impact our dishwasher practices |
| Two of us. Every night. We eat three meals a day at home. I watched the videos that showed dishwashers use way less water than hand washing. |
Same. I have a Miele. |
|
The short cycle skips the pre rinse cycle so may not be as effective.

|
2 people. once every day or two. depends how much we eat at home.
|
| Family of four. Almost every day. Sometimes twice. |
DP. I'm guessing the pets would get into the dirty dishes if unwashed (cats?). |
| Family of four plus three cats who eat wet food. Every day, sometimes twice a day. I cook a good amount and I pack both kids' lunches every day. |
