| When we were 4 just about every day. Now we are two..2-3 days. Meals are simpler now. |
| Family of 4. Maybe once a week if we have a lot of dishes. I never put pots and pans in dishwasher nor knives. At that point, just putting the dinner plate and a glass seems silly, so I’ll just wash it by hand. |
| Family of 5 and daily. Plus often have stuff that doesn’t fit that gets hand washed. |
|
Family of six. We usually run it twice a day. Once after dinner and once in the morning with breakfast dishes and whatever is leftover from dinner.
I definitely put pots and pans in it. We have an All-Clad pan that has been through the dishwasher at least 1,000 times, and it looks great. |
| This is all shocking to me. Doesn’t the food get all caked on after sitting for 2 days in the dishwasher? |
| Two people. Once or twice a week, usually after a big cook with lots of dishes. We handwash our plates and cutlery during the week and leave them in the dishdrainer and then after a big cook or at the end of the workweek with all the tiny lunch containers we run everything to get it sanitized. |
| Twice a day because the kids' Bento lunch boxes take up the whole top rack. |
The dishwasher uses very hot water and detergent. |
Anything past their numbers and letters is pointless. |
This is disgusting. Smaller family--2 or 3 times daily (and it is always full because we have pets). |
No...comes out clean. |
Pets? |
| family of four, generally daily, unless we eat dinner out and its a weekday (so no lunch dishes) in which case it will be after dinner on day 2. Dinner is our biggest meal in terms of dishes. I don't eat breakfast, one kid just has a smoothie and hand washes the blender; kids pack their lunch, so its usually light until dinner. |
What kind of pets require multiple dishes to be washed daily? |
+1. The energy efficient cycle for ours is 3+ hours. |
