Because it is a country of Jews. You’d think you’d say that Iran or a China or Russia was the scourge of the earth. Very telling. |
Yeah I would if they were doing the same thing as in Gaza. FWIW, Russia is the scourge of the earth for the going-ons in Ukraine. Hope you remove your head from your sphincter soon. |
Why should we allow Black people to define racism? |
Genocide requires a specific intent to destroy a group. This is hard to square with the existence of Arab Muslims in the knesset, on the bench and in the military. It's brutal. But war is brutal. This is war. A war that Hamas started and that Hamas can end at any time with unconditional surrender. Until then...FAFO |
| I'm gonna say Bibi has the intent of destroying a group per his plan of bombing the hell out of all who reside in Gaza aka Palestinians. Not sure PP how you define destroy but for the 99% of pretty much the entire world, that there is not antisemitism when we condemn this plan of the Jews. |
Refusing to say the word Palestinian while denying a specific intent to destroy the existence of a group called Palestinians. That is peak irony. Let me guess, there's no intent to destroy Palestinians because there's no such thing as them? |
| If Israel wanted to commit genocide they would have done it already. Perhaps the Palestinians shouldn’t have elected Hamas to lead them. |
Could they have? Are we know cIaiming that the absence of a past genocide is proof that that a current genocide has no intent? That's a weird argument to make for a variety of reasons. It also ignores the very relevent change in Israeli politics and society since the assasination of Rabin and the political rise of the Kahanists. |
It’s not just Palestinian in Gaza. International aid workers, journalists, and Israeli hostages live there right now. The hostage fears the IDF bombs more than they fear Hamas. All the released hostages said they feared Israel as soon as they entered Gaza and heard and saw all the bombings take place. |
Clearly Hamas and the Palestinians (they elected them) didn’t think this through very well when they decided to commit the atrocities of October 7th such as tying Israeli kids up in front of their parents and setting them on fire or slitting their throats. |
Clearly IDF and the Jews (they support them) didn’t think this through very well when they commited atrocities of the same nature and worse for eighty years before 10/7 |
Let’s see just how full of shit you are … Of the approx. 2,100,000 individuals in Gaza on 10/8/2023, how many voted for Hamas. Accepting a number within 100,000 of the actual number. And then when you’re done facing the fact that less than 1/15th of that 2,100,000 population ever cast a vote for Hamas (that’s less than 1 in 15, or less than 7% for those scoring at home), explain to us what the West Bsnk Palestinians did to warrant the unending attacks from the settlers and the IDF. |
Collective punishment in the form of genocide is now an acceptable to individual acts of evil? How do the acts of Kahanist terrorism fit into this theory? When "settlers" burned a baby alive in front of their parents did that not count? When the current Minister of National Security, a convicted terrorist in charge of the police, danced around at a wedding with a picture of the dead baby theatrically stabbing the piece of paper with joyous ferver, did that not count? When Israel deliberately bombs one of the oldest chruches in the world, when Israel deliberately attacks UN peacekeepers from Ireland and deliberately kills American NGOs is that all part of this "just genocide"? |
In 2009, the IDF wore T shirts with photos of dead Palestinian babies and one shirt showing a pregnant Palestinian woman with the slogan “one shot, two kills”. “The smaller they are, the harder it is," says another shirt showing a child in a rifle sight. If Hamas used this same rhetoric about Israeli children, we’d never hear the end of it https://www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/wbna29837969 |
| Quite amusing how every response in this thread to defending genocide is some combination Hamas or October 7. |
