Is stating that Gaza is a genocide antisemitism?

Could they have? Are we know cIaiming that the absence of a past genocide is proof that that a current genocide has no intent?

That's a weird argument to make for a variety of reasons. It also ignores the very relevent change in Israeli politics and society since the assasination of Rabin and the political rise of the Kahanists.

Clearly Hamas and the Palestinians (they elected them) didn’t think this through very well when they decided to commit the atrocities of October 7th such as tying Israeli kids up in front of their parents and setting them on fire or slitting their throats.

Let’s see just how full of shit you are …

Of the approx. 2,100,000 individuals in Gaza on 10/8/2023, how many voted for Hamas. Accepting a number within 100,000 of the actual number.

And then when you’re done facing the fact that less than 1/15th of that 2,100,000 population ever cast a vote for Hamas (that’s less than 1 in 15, or less than 7% for those scoring at home), explain to us what the West Bsnk Palestinians did to warrant the unending attacks from the settlers and the IDF.

And what kept the non-voters from voting? They are complicit, and responsible.

Maybe because Oct 7 was the precipitating cause? Maybe because Hamas' stated objective and founding principle is genocide? Maybe because Hamas could stop it all immediately if they surrender and release the hostage, but prefer to try to extrot concessions from Israel instead, no matter the cost in Palestinian lives?

Good book for you to read. Maybe you'll realize that Genocide is bad. And defending something that is bad is also bad and means you're probably bad.

Genocide is indeed bad. Hamas are those trying to engage in it. Israel is engaged in defeating Hamas. Palestinians die whenever Palestinians try to expel Israelis from Israel. That is not genocide, it's suicide on the part of the Palestinians.

They have done it already. Israel never acknowledges any genocide but their own. They just recently acknowledged the Armenian genocide and its only because they want to fight Turkey.

Selfish arrogant terrible nation. They didn’t even warn America ahead of time regarding this strike. We look like idiots exchanging pleasantries with Qatari officials, dealmaking with Hamas for hostage exchange/ceasefire, then suddenly missiles are in the air that blindsided us but we have to pretend we knew about to protect the friendship.

One of these days, Netanyahu will blow up an American civilian or military personnel and I hope that ends the relationship for good

Israel was bombing Syria and executing Iranian nuclear scientists for years before 10/7. Israel’s obsession over Iran’s supposed nukes is because they want regional dominance over the entire region and they are bankrupting America to get it

They're children, so yes a lot of them are impotent. What a strange turn of phrase to use.

It’s also disingenuous because the majority of Palestinians do in fact denounce Hamas. They live in the West Bank where Hamas is banned from political participation. The Palestinians in the West Bank were in so much danger from settler violence some willingly moved to gaza in the years before 10/7 to avoid idf and Israeli presence and because Gaza was presumed safer (it wasn’t). Gaza was bombed by Israel in September 2023. 2023 was the deadliest non war year in the West Bank on record following 2022.

So whether one supports Hamas or not or whether it’s wartime or not makes no difference for Palestinian life and safety. Israelis frame it as a war of self defense when it’s not. If 10/7 didn’t happen, 2023 was already going to be one of the deadliest year for Palestinians anyway just like 2021 and 2022
Anonymous
There’s nothing Palestinians could have done to make Israelis see them as humans.

Even moving to Israel did not work. Ask Israeli Arabs how many bomb shelters they have in their neighborhoods. During the Iranian strike, Arab Israelis died because They had no shelter unlike Jewish Israelis

and apparently they aren't allowed to go to the same high schools as jewish students. completely segregated. Universities are not segregated BUT the kids are all segregated from one. another probably so that the jewish kids don't actually become friends with the Arabs while they are innocent and young and open minded or become "infected' with non-Jewish ideas.
