Does the OP mean the windows are tinted black (like a limo), or only use black shades that never go up? There is a difference.

My bedroom has black shades that never go up because I only go there to sleep.
Some of My other windows appear 50% dark because of tint (blocks out the sun UV rays) on one side of the house. I could have chose darker tint which would appear closer to black.

Anyway, based on men coming and going quickly with a rear parking lot, sounds like drugs. But middle eastern usualky are not big on drug dealing.

Oh ok so now we have moved on to racial profiling. Is there anything that DCUM doesn’t spread fear about?

Google the owner (which the tax database will provide). If ownership is not personally identifiable (owned by a random trust or company/LLC it's likely a front.

How is it that a functional adult doesn't do this first before they assume it's some illegal enterprise?

They show up strategically to their house as they expect a dog walker, a student returning from school or someone returning from work to walk by or drive by their house to get to their own home. They try not to "look" creepy but don't realize they are creepy appearing just as someone is arriving near their home. All kind of weirdoes around in this world.

what? I don't know who is creeepier - you or op's neighbor.

Every windows including the ones around the front door have black shades that are never up. Every window is black. There are several professional looking security cameras. Cars park around back out of site of the street. People must enter through the back door, never seen the front door open. There is a middle eastern looking man in late 40s who may be the owner and I've seen him for years. Other men come and go, often quickly, maybe delivery people.

In my imagination I fear that there are women imprisoned in this black hole of a house or they are doing something illegal. Should I report it? Who to call?

You need to step away from the Lifetime murder shows.

They’ll drive by, See that no crime is being committed and be done.

Exactly. Op needs sedatives.

You seriously never open your window coverings and let natural light into your home? Are you a vampire? That is bizarre. You are not a normal person.

It's not your choice. Not pp, but I keep some shades always drawn because I have neighbors who are so uncouth they will walk into your yard and look in your windows. Many of us do this type of thing because we have weirdos for neighbors.

I would call the non-emergency police line.

Please tell us what will happen when op does that. I'm serious. What do you think will happen?

Op's neighbor hasn't done anything to involve the "criminal justice system". Gawd you people are so white and racist.

Because perhaps the OP is worried at some sort of terrorist cell? It's completely relevant.

Right. She's racially profiling. She's a racist.

If I saw a house with blacked out windows, men coming and going from the back of the house, Middle Eastern, and everything else OP described, I too would jump to wondering about a terrorist cell. It's not racist to come to a logical conclusion.

If they were Black, traffic coming and going 24/7, men with little baggies in the front yard, I'd jump to thinking they might be drug dealers.

If they were White, carrying coffins into and out of the house, I'd wonder if they were mobsters.

See how it works?

Yes, I do. In each of those instances you'd be reaching conclusions based on racial profiling. You'd be racist. So, yes, we agree.

Please grow up and live in the real world.

Meaning please grow up and racially profile.

Because of people like you who throw around terms like racism and racist in such clumsy, thoughtless ways the terms have become meaningless. Seriously.

No, what has happened is the rwnjs have invaded dcum and we have all the shut ins posting from bfe with their small minded prejudices being put on full display.

Probably someone paranoid and coping with this because of their mental illness.

Paranoia is very common.

You may have it too.

Right. She's racially profiling. She's a racist.

She is observant. She noticed this person looked male. That's an observation not sexism.

Just stop. She "observed" that the man looked middle eastern. She considers that to be relevant. That, by definition, is racial profiling.

Ok! So what? Do you think trying to call someone out for what you decide is racial profiling does ANYTHING besides make you appear naive and willing to ignore potentially dangerous situations for fear of seeming racist?

Please spell this out clearly. What is the dangerous situation here?

OP said shades specificially.

I was picturing windows with black paint on them until I read it again. Some drug grow houses do that.

Of course people who day sleep have to do that as well. If the meter is racking up 6000KW a month, then you know somthing is up.

Op, is there much coming and going from the house?

My first thought was meth lab but maybe just because they’re somewhat prevalent where I’m from.

I’d call the police and ask them to do a welfare check. Then you can at least cross imprisoned women off your list of things to worry about.

How nice is the neighborhood? You know it's not a meth house.

Many are in high end areas to avoid this exact type of suspicion. "Oh this is a rich area, nothing bad exists here!"
