Most of us look our age

Well, I don’t look young for my age, but my (white) mom definitely does. Age 75, very little gray hair, great skin. She looks maybe 60.

Asian women absolutely look younger than their age. Not all but most.

I look my age but I’m not so insecure and bitter that I refuse to recognize other women may , gasp, look younger than their age.

My only friends over a certain age who actually look younger than their age are non-caucasian. I would recognize it if it existed, but I am caucasian, and none of my caucasian friends look young for their age anymore. Some of them look super fit, stylish, and have great hair and skin, but the signs of aging are still there. It's in our hands, loss of bone density in faces, etc.

They look younger than their age TO YOU, but to other Asians, they look their age.

I find this to be quite common from my life experience(s).

All kidding aside, I am surprised how well many Black people age.
Many of them look so good!
And don’t get me started on Asians….they all seem to have a longer shelf life than all of the other ethnicities in my opinion.
All of the Asians I have known seem to age at a much slower rate than the rest of the population!

Though JLo is 56 and looks 36 and she is neither - - she is Puerto Rican and is seemingly aging backward.
Yes, I know I know she probably has had surgical enhancements done.
But if that is the case ->> then why don’t most celebrities look that good at 56??!

They seemingly never age.

I’m Asian and when I first came here a good decade ago and put my 1 year old in the care of a neighbor who was running an in home daycare, I thought she was my age (early 30s) if not even younger. Imagine my surprise when she later told me she already had grand kids and was in her 50s! She had a beautiful 20 something year old complexion and style, I believe she said she was originally from Somalia.

I, on the other hand, would have trouble passing for 48.

I don’t think anyone on here can truthfully say that Black people and Asians specifically age the same way as Whites (or other races!)

Because collectively they just do.
And there are many good stereotypes (!) that acknowledge this.

TMZ’s Harvey Levin also looks incredibly youthful at his tender age of 74!

I think eternal youth just comes from choosing your chromosomes wisely……..
