When Schumer caved in March DOGE was at the height of its power and Dems feared that Elon might use the designation of certain federal employees as "essential" as justification to fire everybody else. This doesn't seem to be as much of a factor right now.

I thought DOD is also operating on a CR - has there been a separate appropriations bill passed for that agency?

Jefferies must go he sucks like Schumer. Both are worthless.

Most of the concessions that Pelosi won during Trump's first term were when she had a majority in the House. If Jeffries can win back that majority I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.
