| I am enjoying this thread, but won’t the list include pretty much any amazing movie? Of the actors excel in the role, they will make it their own and it’s hard to imagine anyone else in that role. |

The Devil Wears Prada is almost perfectly cast- Adrian Grenier is terrible as thr chef. But otherwise? It’s just fantastic. |

+1 You beat me to this But I didn't love Liv Tyler initially but i think it worked because her role was expanded from the book. |

Agree. He was perfection in Entourage but he was totally forgettable and lacked any character development in devil wears Prada. They should have just deleted the role. |

Yes and no. Some movies are great but anyone could have been in some of the roles and it still would have been great. I don’t think anyone is arguing that Kate winslet was perfectly cast in titanic even though the movie was a blockbuster that won a million awards. Leo, however , was perfectly cast as was Kate winslets fiancé. |
