In this case, she put up a post on her personal social media, though. Look, I think her views are at best misguided - there is no evidence that the two young people murdered by antisemitic violence were supportive of the Government of Israel's actions in Gaza - but she was not "on the job" when she made this post.

It actually raises a pretty important question of what rights a teacher has while off the clock.
her prior incident in news she admits she’s there to indoctrinate

She absolutely did not. The post that was quoted was from Halloween and she joked she was giving out Marxist literature to the kids — obviously joking about trick or treaters not her students. My kid had her that year and I can confirm that absolutely no indoctrination was occurring — unless “be nice to each other and be kind to yourself when you make mistakes” is indoctrination.

She made several of her previous posts while she was at work at NBMS.

What about the rights of parents who don’t want a teacher posting that to teacher their child?

"rights of the parents"

Don't send your kid to public school if you do not accept the 1st Amendment of the Constitution.

Sorry — I did three separate posts on a row but wanted to respond to specific things based on my knowledge as a NBMS parent whose child was in her class when the last controversy arose. My conclusion last time was that some right winger had grabbed her SM by searching for Marxist and teacher, and had then cherry picked out specific posts to misrepresent what she was saying.

Sort of like white parents who don’t want any black people teaching their children? It’s a slippery slopez

More like a parent of a black child who does not feel comfortable when their teacher states that they support the killing of George Floyd because he deserved it because he was black.

Well she should try practicing what she preaches instead of saying disgusting things about two innocent people who were shot dead, and pause and have some compassion about their families and others who loved them.

She is engaging is deliberate attempts to dehumanize people to meet her political goals. And that's EXACTLY the type of behavior that incites people to kill.

Genocide is never the answer.

Oh please Anti Semitism in MCPS is nothing.

North Carolina.

My oldest principal called the two Jewish parents in the whole school in for a "meeting".

We were told "we are putting your kind together" "your kind is brighter but we don't want to bring up the average" "your kind should be in the same class not indoctrinating other students" "you still have to observe Christamas don't ask to be exempt"

Yep Raleigh NC public school third graders.

I called my husband he was out of town on business, put the house up for sale the next week I was done.

I have never regretted that decision.

Maybe you would be happier at a religious school.

But some Jews, myself included, see the current efforts to be what they are — trying to eliminate all of Gaza. That’s not okay either. Hamas isn’t the women and children of Gaza.

Seriously?! If Israel was trying eliminate all people who live in Gaza they would bomb without giving warning which oh yeah, they don’t. Israeli youth have been sacrificed to save as many Palestinians as possible.

Have they tried not invading Gaza? That might work.

Warning someone first makes it OK to kill them in their homes? Hitler earned the Jews to leave before he killed them. I guess the Nazis were the most moral army in the world?

I urge you to get out of your bubble and read what’s happening. Israel is not going to drop a bomb because then they for sure will look like the aggressor. They are reliant on folks who are looking the other way as they starve the people there.

Israel is not dropping those 2000 lb bombs from USA? Gaza, especially the hospitals, is just spontaneously combusting?

I know several American Jews who are disgusted and disappointed with Israel right now. But many others still cling to the notion that Israel is a beacon of shining light and progress and can do no wrong. For the fervent supporters, they cannot handle any criticism of Israel and they are working to eliminate freedom of speech and expression in the US because it is so uncomfortable for them to have their rosy view of Israel challenged

Remember when Israel bombed Chef Jose Andres food trucks when they were delivering food to victims of the Genocide. There that.
