Multiple parents from NBMS complained about her posts when she was there. Mcps admin did nothing and then she had a paid position working for the mcps teachers’ union before she went to teach at Argyle MS.

As despicable as it was, it was a social media post. Not something that was said during school or directed to her students. The first amendment protects people’s shitty opinions. Firing her because of her opinions if it hasn’t impacted students performance is asking for a lawsuit. Then you all will get on here complaining about MCPS legal spend.

I’m not going to justify the post, but is it different then you see here the other way? I’ve seen plenty of posts here talking about it being quite ok—not even not bad—to kill “terrorists” (using the word to describe anybody from the territory) in Gaza while proclaiming the evils of the hostage taking. Same thing
