Can't believe people think they can turn back the hands of time. The 1950s aren't coming back. |
Which schools look 60% Asian? You can look up the actual percentages of each college. Maybe certain cultures are more apt to post on the Instagram pages? |
You don't even know what CRT is. Stop it. |
Whites have voted majority GOP ever since the Civil Rights act of 1964. Coincidence? No. The OP is white and wants his average white kid to continue to benefit from historical and embedded admissions advantages. It's always about race. It's American history. |
Have a look at the Ivy+ school pages. Maybe other groups don't post as much. If you look at the stats on demographics last year, they were mostly there if you count international students from Asia. |
^^^ WHAT?!?! This is a horrible thing to say |

Actually it was Nixon his cronies who came up with the Southern Strategy to win over Southern whites. But good try, pappy! |
Considering the prestige of our universities, the incredible volume of useful research, the Nobel prize count, etc... YES. |
+1 |
Almost all from a time when merit was defined by a test score. How much of that research is from people who scored poorly on standardized tests? |
The GOP is a party of white supremacists. Fixed it for you. |
| The irony of Trumpsters wanting to get rid of DEI in college admissions is that truly doing that would mean that colleges would no longer be able to value the fact that applicants are from under-represented states or schools with fewer AP/honors offerings. If we truly had a meritocrasy, entire states would be shut of National Merit Scholars and the number of Asian students would rise at many competitive schools. |
There are no american schools in the top 10 engineering schools globally. There are no american schools in the top 10 computer science schools globally. What makes american schools special is money and access to american job markets. |
