The diversity essays are nothing sort of ridiculous. At 14 to 17 years of age, children do not have to come up with stuff they did to show how inclusive or diverse they are.

Test score is a better measure of merit than skin color.

I agree and have found that for many colleges, being Christian adds to the diversity. My kids wrote about faith in their responses. So many really want to know how you bring a unique perspective to the campus and whether you are open to dialogue with those who come from different perspectives.

Very few heterosexual, Christian, White males are getting into Harvard or Ivy+ these days. The only ones are usually the athletes. Check out their class pages and you will get a better idea.

It is true. Rich white DCs with college educated parents are now getting invites to fly-in programs. The DEI requirements have been scrubbed from the application.
