| 2010. 2009’s NVA went to Union to change that roster over and Arlington and VDA added pieces. Don’t know about the other HS teams yet. In short, ECNL teams are only getting stronger at the HS level. GA can have their 8th grade champs! |
The above is the same parent who would have been crowing to anyone who would listen about how good his 7th-8th grade daughter's soccer team was at the time. Provided she was on an exceptional team, of course. |
Are you sure about that? 30+ roster spots at the ECNL level will now be the norm |
Not unless ECNL nationally changes the rules for roster size. They are currently capped at 28. |
09 Union is very close to that number |
. For loudoun yes some girls from current 2nd and 3rd teams went to VRSC. The team will be on par with loudouns GA team. But currently far behind NVA and SYC |
Last time I checked still just 11 players on the field and only max 18 allowed to be on a game day roster. If NVA players "changed the roster over" at Union, what happened to all those Union players they replaced? |
Every ECNL club in this area will be above 18 players at U15 and above. Wouldn't surprise me if the number is 18 at U13/14 also. |
This is a flat out lie; but great try! That age group flip flops 2013 kids for second team rev not top team. |
I don’t understand your message. Can you clarify? |
Is mls next different?? Do they roster fewer kids? Asking for my U14 BOY who is choosing between ECNL and MLSN. |
It depends on everything and you should ask the coach. ECNL cap is 30. Just because you can only roster 18 for a game doesn't mean that you can't have more players. |
+1 clubs will take more than the cap |
| GA also has a 30 player roster cap |
| Few quality players showed up to 2011 MYS GA tryouts. Had to fill GA team with RL players (many of whom should be on Aspire) and cut NL players (some good ones). GK from lower travel MYS team. VDA, Union, SYC benefited most by MYS and NVA going to GA. |
