Almost everything looks good on skinny girls, but these look universally stupid on everyone. I think that’s why there’s so much hate.

i'm sorry, but those look like mom jeans.

The essence of mom jeans is a style that was popular when the wearer was younger that they continue to wear even though it's not in style anymore. Really, that would be skinny jeans right now.

Yes. I think they look cute.

I think some of us are so indoctrinated into the idea that clothes must make women look as thin as possible or they are not "flattering."

This is something Gen Z gets that millennial women seem to struggle with. You don't have to look skinny to look cute. These jeans have a casual, classic vibe. They look lived in and relaxed. If I saw this woman on the street, I'd think she'd look cool. I'm sure she could look thinner and taller in a different style if jeans, but since I don't need women to all look skinny and tall, this is not important to me.

I’m generally a fan of man-repelling pants, but not those.

I don’t care how thin or tall she looks, it’s just a stupid shape for no reason. You can get lived-in and relaxed without adding a few inches of arc to the outside of your leg. It’s just a dumb gimmick to make fashion victims buy new jeans.

An externally ugly person can also be cool and interesting. Everyone knows such a person in their lives if they think about it.

These pants are “cute” in the way a toddler wearing her mother’s size 9 stilettos is “cute” when she tries them on and walks down the hall and announces “I am fancy!”

Fun, hilarious, instaworthy? Sure. But not attractive

Maybe when we are living in the Hunger Games those pants will be considered stylish.
