Probationaries getting fired today

What about probationary SES? Does anyone know how they’re being impacted? Do they fall under a separate category?

They have fallback rights and return to the GS unless they were hired from outside government less than a year ago.

I am really shocked that two people have so callously fired so many many people. This will be devastating for so many people.

It's hard to believe that they could do this. For no reason.

NP and I read they just terminated 3.4K people. Some occupations will stay like fire fighters, law enforcement and bridge inspectors.
