Tyson’s Corner Shopping is mobbed by shoppers and yet people think the economy is bad?

Black Friday sales are record breaking this year all around the country. This is despite your social economic level, area, or income. So much for the bad economy indeed.

Okay now look up the average American credit card debt and see how much it has increased recently.

Rich people in a blue state have a lot of money to spend. What a surprise!

Red states are also flush with moola. Just stop by your local Target or Walmart and watch the swarms of people flooding the Black Friday and Christmas sales. Like OP said, it’s ACROSS the country there are RECORD sales everywhere. No matter the Blue or Red states.

Three malls I don't see any shoppers. Lake Forest, White Flint, and Mazza Gallery.

Immigrants. They are the ones shopping. Whole families at a time. Not kidding, all the people who have arrived since the COVID years are shopping. Anyone who has been to malls or outlets will back me up on this.

I’m surprised by how many DC license plates I see at Tysons. There is shopping in DC. They can take the metro to Pentagon City. And yet still so many DC residents decide to drive all the way out to Tysons to shop.

Yet if you go to Tysons Corner shopping mall right now, it’s an hour to get in and there are lines of people everywhere buying stuff they don’t even need. It’s astonishing how they voted for all the wrong reasons when the reality is clearly the opposite of what they think is going on.

Once Trump won the election, he proclaimed that it was because he won the election and now polling shows the GOP agrees it is a great economy.

we live in stupid times.

I lived in DC (Capitol Hill) for 20 years before moving to McLean last year. I shopped in Tyson’s when I lived in DC and I still do. People complain here about the horrific traffic in Tyson’s. But coming from two decades in DC, Tyson’s traffic is just like another day in DC. No big deal.

Pentagon City mall in Arlington isn't as safe as it used to be. Lots of reports of mass thefts and car jackings, like this report from last week.

DC residents are everywhere in VA malls and grocery stores. They are so annoying with their nasty attitudes.

How can you tell we're from DC? Our cars are outside but our attitudes are inside?

If they're wearing masks, they are probably from DC.

Yes. Easily identified by the attitude, dialect and clothing.

Lot of foreign money flowing through there.
