| I had to turn around due to traffic. See yall on cyber monday |
| I live right next to Tysons. Stepped out to get pick food out with my kids. It took us forever to go half a mile. It was terrible. Even for black Friday. |
| Im about to leave Tyson’s and I can reassure you that 99 percent of the people here spending money are not the millionaires you purport this mall to be visited by. There are thousands of people here all buying things in this “bad economy”. |
| The national retailers association is projecting a bumper year — sales up. Even discretionary spending on things like travel is up. I’m not sure people remember what a bad economy looks like. |

Credit card debt has been on the rise for years!

The millionaires are over at the Galleria. |
+1000 This is so true. Americans have such short term memory for everything. |
|
OP I hear you. Airports are always mobbed tons of people flying, busiest Thanksgiving travel day yet, yada yada.
But yes we have to pretend voters wanted Trump because of a "bad economy." |
Plus add the inflation that people complained about. And yet planes are full and Black Friday sales are through the roof. You don’t see Amazon going out of business soon either. Americans continue to buy buy buy. I don’t understand where the bad economy thing came from either. Unemployment is the best it could ever be. Can a social economist please explain what is going on in people’s minds to vote one way when the opposition is true? |
+1 what are you yammering on about? Your side already won and the election is over. I love in MoCo and our restaurants are bustling. No idea where you're going. |
| Gotta get it before the tariffs kick in |
Democrats lost the narrative on the economy. Same thing happened in 2016. We are extremely bad at that messaging. All your points above are factually accurate but that's irrelevant to voters. |
| Americans are stupid. |
| “The people who live in one of the richest areas in the nation are shopping at the closest mall, therefore the economy is fine.” Do you see the faulty logic? |
I am not rich! I barely make $500k which is middle class! |
