Any ex-MAGAs willing to share that mindset?

There are just no democrats candidates that even democrats are excited or enthusiastic about- sorry. No one was excited Harris was running. Remember the pussy hats? What about all the pride flags and paraphernalia? Is that a cult?

People expressing enthusiasm about a candidate, political movement, or a cause doesn’t make it or them a cult

A cult is defined as "a misplaced or excessive admiration for a particular person or thing". In other words, MAGA. Believing in alternate realities about everything he is, does, or says is the epitome of excessive admiration. So is wearing tampons on your ear, wearing diapers in support, assaulting the Capitol, etc. This person isn't expressing excessive (and unusual) admiration?

You really, really don’t want to go down the rabbit hole of finding pictures of disturbed people and ascribing them to entire blocks of voters. You aren’t going to come out ahead on that one.

Disagree. It isn’t excessive adoration. It is meant to be funny, gain attention, and be publicity stunts during a campaign. People aren’t praying to Trump several times per day, have shrines in their home for him, etc. Most people that voted for him never even talk about him at all.

Sure, I will. What...you're going to find some pictures of the p@ssy hat and ascribe that to a specific Democrat?

There's always an excuse for everything when it comes to Trump and his cult.

You see plenty of dems that criticized Biden, Kamala or Obama though.

Simple as that.

Wrong. He's fat, his golf swing is overrated, and he needs to shut his mouth and listen more. His policies made him a better option.

I never really heard about his policies except that it wasn’t Project 2025 and was tariffs, and kicking out illegal immigrants of color.

Except it turns out that his policy is Project 2025 AND that the tariffs are horrible for the economy as indicated by almost all economists.

He doesn’t like the ACA, but has no plan, just the concept of a plan.

So which policies exactly did you vote for and how do you know what you will actually get beyond blindly trusting this guy? Who, mind you has a history of not paying construction bills, going bankrupt and grabbing women by the pu$$y and kissing them. So I wonder why you would trust him? What has he done to make you trust him?

Or is that you just don’t want to admit you can fall for a liar so easily?

It is a hard thing to discover that you can be taken in so easily. I have fallen prey to someone similar before.

DP. Always a threat with you people. Knocking people’s heads off, sending people to gitmo, etc.

It’s a free country.

There are some videos on Youtube with former Maga. It's really interesting. Here are some.

The problem is, I don’t know of ANY former MAGAs. That’s the scary part. Sure, I know of republicans who didn’t vote for him this time. But I am talking about the full-on MAGA folks. The rally goers, insurrectionists, folks with Trump tattoos, etc. The ones who can’t see any fault in anything he does. Nobody seems to leave this cult.

So, if you are out there, please share. What was your mindset? How/why were you able to dismiss everything he has done? What happened to finally change your mind? Any suggestions on how to help our friends/relatives see the light? Any insight would be much appreciated!

To those of you who are about to call me dramatic for calling it a cult…when you are in a cult, you don’t know you are in a cult.

I’m a Harris voter and you are why we lost. You need to leave your own deep cult.

You voted for Trump.

Nancy Pelosi's daughter Alexandria filmed an HBO documentary where she interviewed January 6 insurrectionists. It was very good. She was good in it, setting them straight about "liberals," like how long she's been married to the same man.

…. it makes them feel less alone.

This explains everything. It’s not about Trump. It’s about loneliness.

Trolls get paid by the post?

Lady, you're so lost it's kind of sad.

You don't get it, do you? You're the one who is deep in a lunatic cult.

You best look at the DNC agenda.

It does not line up with leadership Americans want - from woke to open borders to climate spending without end. Nope. Rework what's important.

You democrats dump all over honest work in favor of aristocracy, elitism and financialization of our economy. If you don't get it you don't get it. You lost every swing state and spent 50% more than Trump whilst attacking him with the legal system.... and you still lost.

Judging from recent statements from Alec Baldwin, Sharon Stone, Rob Reiner, The View, Gavin Newsom, MSNBC, and others, the message has not been received. Please continue on. Your move.

It's Trump's move, not the Democrats. He has to deliver lower prices (not just lower inflation) and jobs. If he does not, the Republicans will lose in 2026 and 2028.

MAGA ≠ Republicans

Plz explain

Who really cares?! The majority of the country voted for Trump and he won. Can we please move forward?

We’re following your example from 2020 and not moving on.
