A cult is defined as "a misplaced or excessive admiration for a particular person or thing". In other words, MAGA. Believing in alternate realities about everything he is, does, or says is the epitome of excessive admiration. So is wearing tampons on your ear, wearing diapers in support, assaulting the Capitol, etc. This person isn't expressing excessive (and unusual) admiration?

You really, really don’t want to go down the rabbit hole of finding pictures of disturbed people and ascribing them to entire blocks of voters. You aren’t going to come out ahead on that one.

Disagree. It isn’t excessive adoration. It is meant to be funny, gain attention, and be publicity stunts during a campaign. People aren’t praying to Trump several times per day, have shrines in their home for him, etc. Most people that voted for him never even talk about him at all.

It's Trump's move, not the Democrats. He has to deliver lower prices (not just lower inflation) and jobs. If he does not, the Republicans will lose in 2026 and 2028.
