If you think the signs are totally normal but the hats are totally weird, or vice versa, you might be the one in a cult.
Spoiler: They are both signs of cult allegiance. |
Cults have a central figure, so no, not at all the same. |
Plz explain |

Half the country voted for Trump. It isn’t a cult OP. It isn’t a “cult” and do you even know what a cult is? A segment of people have extreme enthusiasm for Trump, but I can see why. He is unlike any politician in history. He has been shot at, prosecuted, impeached, and demonized non stop by the media, despite being very popular among our nation’s citizens. There are just no democrats candidates that even democrats are excited or enthusiastic about- sorry. No one was excited Harris was running. Remember the pussy hats? What about all the pride flags and paraphernalia? Is that a cult?
People expressing enthusiasm about a candidate, political movement, or a cause doesn’t make it or them a cult |
Cults don’t always have to have a central figure. There are plenty of cults that exist without a charismatic central figure. Examples include the Jehovah’s Witnesses and the Branch Davidians. |
Who really cares?! The majority of the country voted for Trump and he won. Can we please move forward? |
A man at my workplace wore a shirt TO WORK that said "Protect Trans Youth". That's not cultist? |
Not sure how that would be. |
Not a cult, but inappropriate yes. Personally I feel people should leave their political opinions to themselves. The proper way to express your political opinions, beliefs and preferences is through your vote. And clearly considering the shock and surprise of the Trump win has caused, most of his supporters do just that. The democrats have far more vocal and obnoxious supporters |
Well, I asked him what it meant and what he said didn't mean protect them from bodily harm. It meant something very different. |
Even in this subthread, it was about the MAGA cult never criticizing Trump. You criticized him and subsequently identified as an Independent as if making a point (of what exactly?). I.e., you're not relevant to the subthread or the topic. You make no sense. I'd run along, but you wouldn't be able to keep up. |
| Interestingly these days, I think it’s easier to find former democrats than it is to find former MAGAs. |
A cult is defined as "a misplaced or excessive admiration for a particular person or thing". In other words, MAGA. Believing in alternate realities about everything he is, does, or says is the epitome of excessive admiration. So is wearing tampons on your ear, wearing diapers in support, assaulting the Capitol, etc. This person isn't expressing excessive (and unusual) admiration?

Don’t micromanage this thread. I’m responding to someone. It’s a fair question I’d like answered. |
Why would you think it’s cultish?! |
