Did you really think Kamala would win? Deep down inside, did you?

Yes, you really need to pull up your socks and get better. Maybe drink less wine and read more worthwhile news sources.

Looks like Indian and biracial women do not support Indian and biracial women.

Perhaps they would support someone who pronounces her name correctly. Any video of her mom saying her name?

You are shocked that women can choose someone based on their policy, vs blindly voting for someone like them? So, you would vote for Margaret Thatcher?

What policy exactly benefits women under Trump?

Removing illegals from the United States.

Please explain.

See, people like you are who I can't stand. So you'll vote for anyone who is black and female. Over any one better, good or a black female who sucks simply based on DEI. That's basically what you said.

Cause she sucked. In so many ways she sucked. She couldn't win this election. She had money, support and was the incumbent and she lost so big. You really think she's all that???!?!!?? Her job was to win and she failed. How good could she possibly be?? People like you think because you like someone, they must be the best, no matter what results show. You think because she represents you or is DEI, she automatically deserves to win and can't possibly be bad. People like you are idiots.

Clearly you're uneducated about politics and current events. All incumbents lost in developed countries. And she still fared batter than all of them and lost narrowly. "It's the economy, stupid"

" Lost narrowly "?!
You are killing me!

Her biggest flaw was hiding in her safe zone. She didn’t sell her self, she just preached to the choir.

Oh she sold herself... all the way to DA, Senator, VP, and POTUS candidate with absolutely no accomplishments or common sense.

I don't understand comments like this. Saying she has no common sense when the victor has told people to inject themselves with bleach, has had failed business ventures and multiple lawsuits, and owes his success to his daddy's fortune?

Statements like this have to be rooted in deep misogyny and racism.

Your orange little dictator sent mobs to lynch his VP, and you think it is OK. Did you live in the Trump Hotel to butter him up and keep your grift going?

There are tens of thousands of women alive right now who without Dobbs would have been aborted.

I think what shocked me most was Latino men voting for him as much as they did, given his anti-immigrant rhetoric.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

They’re saying it’s Dems who are tagging @ice on their X profiles? Wow. I can’t even.

Ok, so when you voted for mass deportations, what exactly did you envision?

You’re misreading. I’m a Kamala voter, Hillary lover. I can’t believe that Latino men are blaming Dems for the racism. Black women aren’t blaming Dems for those scary AF racist texts they’re getting. That Latino men don’t realize who they sided with is appalling and sad. But 3-2-1 Dems will get blamed for mass deportations too. Someone on another thread blamed Dems for making Trunpism look greener. Like I said, I can’t even….the cognitive dissonance is real.

But, even if you gave her credit for being qualified due to experience, I knew we would not select a woman over a white man even after after all he did/has done. Trump has managed to get a pass on all the vile language, behaviour, being a felon, failed business person and trying to overthrow our government and they all act like its a nothing burger. We could never run a candidate with this many flaws on the Dem side and fall all over ourselves to vote for them. Can't make this $hit up.

We need to stop running woman though because they are simply not electable at this moment in time regardless of how experienced they are.

Kamala had a better resume than Obama ran. How is that not sexist?

As Hillary Clinton proved, resumes are meaningless. To get the presidency you have to appeal to voters. Harris was uncomfortable and she telegraphed that to voters. The worst thing you can do is show a lack of confidence and that is what she did.

No I did know. I said on Saturday that I did not think she would win and that I believed the polling would be off like it was in 2016.

With that, I did hope will all I had that she would win, but I knew it was an uphill battle and and a tough one give she had 110 days to campaign against someone who has been campaigning and building a base for 9 years.

Not at all. But we keep hearing that women will vote for a qualified woman and then there’s another qualified woman they don’t vote for. Internalized misogyny is real, based on all the different threads in the forums of DCUM.

I very closely followed the race, primarily through the Post and npr.org. I am stunned. I was certain she would win. All the press coverage was positive right up to Election Day.

But what really stands out is: how could anyone vote for trump because of how terrible he is??

Didn’t people know about the things he’s said?

Anonymous wrote:Absolutely not. She was appointed to the vice presidency which is a nothingburger as she clearly showed during her tenure. When the DNC tried to appoint her to the presidency, game over. No one heard of her during the Biden presidency, then suddenly she was the person behind every thing he did. Even the Democrats had to be leery of her being in charge of the most powerful country in the world. Many women can be president, but Harris does not have the chops.

Appointed? I seem to recall 81 people voting for her to be VP.

81 million, lol. What a terrible typo.

They voted for Biden. She was the DEI appendage.

Actually, the only folks trying to murder a presidential candidate were your little cretins. Twice.

Leutenant governor of Virginia would like a word.

We’re talking about the presidency folks. Big difference. It’s a good question, since Mexico just managed it earlier this year.
