You should have at least read the NYT. You were in a total liberal bubble that was promoting Harris. |
No because this is America |
That’s fair, but man do I love Hillary. She is brilliant, a total boss and a complete policy nerd. She would have been a fantastic president. I also love Joe Biden for his character. And while I never would have voted for Kamala in a primary (I respect her but don’t think she stands out in any particular presidential way), she ran an excellent campaign given the strong currents against her. Props to her. I don’t remotely blame this on her. Maybe on Nancy pelosi, who pushed Biden out. |
NP. I think this PP you are responding to has been stating this repeatedly on multiple threads, because while you might have said it once, we all have seen it said multiple times. Most importantly of what the PP said is that the Latino men who voted are legal, either from having been in the US for generations (parts of the current US used to be New Spain and then Mexico, so these people's ancestors easily could have been here since the late 1600s) or went through the process of becoming legal. You can't lump these men in with migrants who have cheated to get into the US. Basically, you and many others, have hit a nerve with your own basically racist assumptions. |
Will you people stop with thw identity politics? This is why you continue to lose. Find a candidate with policies and ideas, like Obama. I voted for Nikki Haley in the primary and Trump in the election. I voted on policy, not looks or personality. I voted my wallet and safety (border). I will never ever vote for Michelle Obama and I will not vote for Pete Butigeig. Pick the best person instead of the one that checks superficial boxes. Pick someone normal who can put together a coherent sentence without having to memorize canned talking points. |
I really did. And the reason I did was bc of January 6th. I never dreamed that man could be elected again after that. |
What?? She spoken throughout as genuinely as you claim she did on Wednesday. She definitely did run an amazing campaign. Just say it, most people are racist and sexist. They couldn't elect HRC one of the most qualified candidates ever. |
Aka I need a white man to say the words. And being a convicted felon, rapist is totally normal too. So don't worry that either |
Not exactly. They’re only meaningless for women. Also, I disagree with you on her confidence level, but how would explain Hillary then? She had no shortage of confidence. (Please, dear lord, do not tell me her problem was overconfidence.) |
I was the opposite. Seeing he got away with attempted murder and setting off a mob like Mao, I thought US went beyond crazy. |
You do know "she came from a middle-class background" right? |
I thought she would win but it would be close. I had no idea she would lose every swing state. Trump is just so vile. I've literally brought up the false claims of election fraud and inciting a mob to invade the Capitol and I get laugh emojis. People think challenging our democracy is funny. The MAGAS duped America into believing the covid inflation was "Biden's" inflation. They told exaggerated stories of migrants receiving $15,000 debit cards and lied about Haitians eating pets. They fed into the country's racism, xenophobia, and transphobia. Half the country has forgotten the mess Trump left and blames Biden. All of this baggage and they passed over Kamala because they was no primary, she wasn't charismatic, etc. Apparently Hillary had too much baggage in 2016, it's all BS. |
I voted for Harris, but after that photo came out of Trump raising his fist in the air immediately after getting shot, I knew deep down nobody was beating him. Again I don't like him and didn't vote for him either time, but man, he is just... unsinkable. |
You... are... a... lunatic. |
I think he is a political genius but dangerous. I am not too upset with him, more with the hypercritical "christian" voters. |
