Did you really think Kamala would win? Deep down inside, did you?

I cannot say that I did. I had doubts.

I was hoping, but was unsure.

Her biggest flaw was hiding in her safe zone. She didn’t sell her self, she just preached to the choir.

I thought we were pretty misogynistic and racist but I got hopeful after The Lincoln Project founder said her campaign would go down as the best in history and the DC rally. As soon as I looked at the first result at 7:30 I knew I had deluded myself. White women don’t support other white women. So, water is wet.

No, I was hoping, but had a sinking feeling that swing voters were not going to vote for a woman.

All my female friends from the south (like me) had the same feeling we were screwed.

Absolutely not. She was appointed to the vice presidency which is a nothingburger as she clearly showed during her tenure. When the DNC tried to appoint her to the presidency, game over. No one heard of her during the Biden presidency, then suddenly she was the person behind every thing he did. Even the Democrats had to be leery of her being in charge of the most powerful country in the world. Many women can be president, but Harris does not have the chops.

No, and I had many chats with my NW DC neighbors about this.

Anyone with family members outside the DMV bubble saw this coming. I'm from PA (many family/friends still there) and it was clear.

And, yeah, we are all white, and all supported Harris, but knew most white men and many white women wouldn't.

Looks like Indian and biracial women do not support Indian and biracial women.

I think a lot of white women will start having less care for immigration issues after this

I honestly don’t know what her policy positions are. It’s like she was scared to say what she thought, as if everything that came out of her mouth had to be vetted.

She should have gone on Rogan.

I did...because I live in the DC bubble where people think January 6 actually mattered. Sad!

I was worried she had a chance.

I live in Chicago and I was quite sure she would "win" but not necessarily legitimately.

I’m a Trump voter, so I was obviously hoping she wouldn’t win…BUT… if the Kamala that gave the concession speech on Wednesday would’ve been the Kamala on the campaign trail, she’d have beaten Trump easily.

Why her advisors insisted on limiting her exposure and keeping her away from cameras like they did except for a few curated (and disastrous) appearances, I’ll never understand.

Because Wednesday Kamala was a refreshing change. She was carefree. Stress free. She didn’t speak haltingly, walking on eggshells. That Kamala would’ve won.

I’m glad she listened to her advisors. But I’m also sad for her, that we didn’t see her “real” self, until Wednesday.

Such is life.

Will you say the same about Vance? 🤔
