Did you really think Kamala would win? Deep down inside, did you?

I voted for Harris pretty much knowing that Trump would win. My only surprise was that it was a landslide...including popular vote, Senate and likely the House.

It’s not exactly a landslide. He got 312 electoral votes, and in 2020 Biden got 306 electoral votes and nobody called that a landslide. The popular vote difference is less than 4 million and the count isn’t finished.

Kamala Harris lost every single swing state. Just deal with it.

Knew it was over when Trump busted her lying about working at McDonald's. She is just an embarrassing and shameless person.

DCUM, like reddit, creates an echo chamber doing damage control for the Left all day.

Yes. But I did not trust the system. Now I do. I trust the US system to protect its race based hierarchy.
Now that I know I will be quiet until I’m not.
I’m a black women so don’t come at me with the misogyny. Not my cause.

I figured swing states were probably undergoing a similar shift. My friends and family in red states were way less confident because they didn't have first hand experience of the dissatisfaction brewing in blue states.

Harris spent big in swing states, and kept the gap close there. Trump gained about 10% in other states.

Madam VP, You didn’t support fracking during her first campaign in 2019, and now you are.

Kamala: look! We are not going back, it’s just that simple (*laughs*). That was five years ago. I’m glad to answer that question, it’s a great question but first off. You know, Democracy is on the ballot. Donald Trump has said there won’t be another election. He wants to take away women’s most precious freedoms-the freedom to control their own body. Could you imagine what that feels like??you know, In 2019, I was still a woman and I always supported reproductive freedom and women’s right to control their own body. I’ve never wavered on that. I think the American people are more concerned about that than they are about fracking.

Nah, it was actually a close election.

It wasn’t close at all.

DP. This is so true. I'm on DCUM a lot and fully expected Harris to win just based on all the fawning going on here. In reality, it was probably just the same handful of liberals, posting over and over. Just like the media, they created the false impression that Harris was this fantastic candidate - when just months ago, Dems were super concerned about her being a major liability on the Biden ticket. Very eye-opening how a small group of people can create a narrative out of whole cloth.

Get a grip. Harris lost because she was a Democrat and Americans weren't interested. Would you vote for a Republican woman - how about a black Republican woman? No. So shut it with your "racism and sexism" excuses.

+1
Amazing how they're already rewriting the narrative of this decisive election.

I figured that out in the now-locked thread about Whitmer and the Dorito filled with gushing fans saying that they found the video hilarious. There is no way you didn't know that was an own goal. Horrifying

Being a black woman was two strikes against her, sad to say.

I learned the country dislikes women more than I thought they did.
