Do you even remember what a joke “infrastructure week” was inthe Trump adminstration? Every 4-6 months when stuff got bad they would say “oh we’re
going to do an infrastructure bill”. And in 4 years they never got it done.

Meanwhile the Dems got it done and the money is flowing to local projects (including in districts of Reps who voted against the bill— which Trump would never allow).

Insulin at $35 for alot of people is another example— not everyone but we can build on it.

More overtime, fewer noncompetes, getting screwed less by airlines. Cleaner air. The list goes on and on if you are paying attention and not just listening to Fox.

Every morning the dems wake up and it's Jan 6! But yeah, they don't seem to recall these George Floyd riots. It ruined my hometown city (take a wild guess where i'm from). A lot of these riots happened right in the area where my grandparents lived, destroying places I had good memories of. It'll never be the same. Walz just let them go at it. And it all gets pushed under the rug

+1 I'm a Harris voter. I'm personally not against immigration and I hate the demonization of undocumented immigrants. That being said, it's clear that Democrats have either intentionally or unintentionally focused way too much on identity politics. They really need to look back on the Obama years. The ACA is an achievement but its benefits for working people are pretty limited. The middle class is hollowing out. What are they really doing for working people? I abhor Trump and his rhetoric, but Democrats really need to figure out a message beyond "Trump is terrible". I don't really understand what they are doing with immigration. I'm glad they don't hate immigrants, but Biden and Harris have really not had a coherent approach to it. It doesn't seem like they care?

Obama should go down in history as probably the worst President of the modern age. The Great Divider blew a historic opportunity to unite this country racially. He did just the opposite. Everything about him was about race. He poured gasoline on the racial tensions in the country. Perfect example was his 2009 White House Beer Garden Summit. In fact, there's a strong argument that Trump was elected in 2016 as blow back from 8 years of the Great Dividers policies and the fact that no one wanted to see Pants Suit in the White House.

Nobody is saying that Biden and Trump are young, that's for darn sure. But after this debacle of a campaign, both parties are going to pivot to fresh, new, young candidates that bring the excitement and energy that Kennedy, Clinton, and Obama brought when they first entered the national scene. On the Republican side, JD Vance is Exhibit A. I don't know who the new Democrat standard bearers will be, but I do not expect Kamala Harris to be in the discussion.
