APE screenshots: this is how they play to win

In that discussion, when a follow up question was asked about the cell phone pilot, she posted that there was a survey open for the pilot. We have confirmed with her that she thought it was apparent that the survey was intended for Arlington parents, especially as the survey asks Arlington-specific demographic questions. While her post was well intentioned, her wording did not highlight who should and should not fill out the survey. She is extremely apologetic about the confusion; nothing nefarious was intended. We want to state extremely clearly that no one outside of Arlington should have filled out the survey, and we will email the Arlington School Board to clarify that was not the intention of the original poster nor us. We stand by our support of the cell phone J-30 draft and feel strongly it can stand on its own without any outside influence. This was an individual error and a mistake and not that of any larger group effort.

That’s a pretty generous interpretation of someone actively soliciting non-Arlington residents to “submit a positive comment” via an APS survey. It may not have been officially sanctioned, but this was not miscommunication.

Also total confirmation that APE trolls constantly monitor DCUM.

+1 more APE spin and lies

If their view is so popular why do they need to play dirty? Wonder where else they rounded up votes from???

This is the dumbest, faux outrage I have read so far about APE. 😂

Got caught? It’s a Facebook group with lots of members where anyone can see the post. If it was some sort of malicious plot to influence the data don’t you think it would be a bit more stealthily done?

100%

Gee, I wonder which SB member “interpreted” it this way.

Yup. And then tell their SB member to clean it up.

Why can’t APS put the survey in Patent Vue or Parent Square or something so they know it’s an APS family and everyone fills it out once?

APE has a lot of members with kids in private schools. I bet they all filled it out too.

How does she clean this up? This is really embarrassing for her.

And if they don’t, they should.

Are they going to get their also-affiliated-with-Koch buddies over at PaReNtS dEfEndINg EdUcATiOn to complete the survey?

I don’t even care that it’s APE. I would call you out on it if it was any group who would stoop to such underhanded measures.
