Well then. Limit his time in the house or on anything with upholstery. Dirt, grime, sweat, ring around the collar, lice, bacteria, and smells ALL soak in to fabrics. |
Agree, Big cry for help. If he truly chooses this in order to repel people that’s one thing but this doesn’t sound like that. |
Why are you posting? Call CPS or shut up |
+1. Poor kid. |
Or take advice or suggestions or directions. |
Change the diet around and take probiotics. Something is not digesting well. |
Good idea. Get him to a pool or waterpark fast. |
| I think if you talk to step mom, I would suggest that she talk to doctor next time DC goes in. This could be from a medical condition called hiperhydrosis. The answer is washing, clean clothes as everyone says, but also a medicine called Qbrexza which is a wipe. It limits the sweating and thus the odor. |
Yeah they’re just rinsing. Same way they “wash” the dishes. Rinsy, rinsy. Done. |
Clothes that stick from body odor and layers of bacteria sweat need WARM water and a real detergent like Tide or Era. And baking soda in it. Can’t imagine his pillow and bedding stench. Don’t bother with organic flower stuff. |
Lazy? Like asd / adhd lazy? |
Dude, you don’t out deodorant on stinky sweaty skin? Too late. You’ll make a grime-y mess worse. Antiperspirant and deodorant is only for recently cleaned and dried skin. Not 12-24 hours later even. |
Of this is true then his bio dad needs to step up and parent and his bio mom needs to too. |
This. Print it out and give it to him. He needs a kick start. Send your kid over there to do all the laundry and linens of this stinky sweaty kid. Set up the shower, nuke the clothes and hang back up. Antiperspirant and shower daily. |
