APS School Board Election 2024

I'm voting for Kathleen and Paul.

Zuraya will win but we all know she'll be as useless as CDT and Priddy. Such a shame that ACDC runs this show otherwise Paul could have run as a Dem.

I don’t love ACDC either but they didn’t stop Paul from seeking their endorsement. That was all him.

How does that demonstrate that Rives is “anti-trans”??

So "dancing around" isn't enough to convince you huh?

Check out the AGIA candidate responses. Very telling who supports trans students (Zuraya, Kathleen, Paul) and who does not (Vell Rives). Vell Rives is not the kind of person I want on the school board.

The problem is your adamant need for the ACDC endorsement to support a candidate. Emblematic of the problem in the politics of our country as a whole.

+1 to this...and the comment about finally putting board members in place who will push back. We definitely don't need another Priddy or Diaz

hahaha, that's true. I hate that fake Dem Miranda is on the Board and was endorsed. I just think it's misleading that Paul is calling himself a Democrat, even though he didn't win, and didn't even run in the primary thing, whatever you call it. I don't remember anyone ever doing this ever.

I agree with this. Though I am still voting for their 2 candidates, the process annoys me. It should be a straight ranked choice on election day.
