Totally agree. He's hardly a threat to the safety of the community.

Totally agree. I don't care how she looked, how she acted, how much she "asked for it," a grown man knows full well it is not okay to have sex with a 15yo girl.

Also, are we certain that he knew she was only 15?

This man trolled the internet for sex, then drove this girl out into a "wooded area" with bondage equipment, a dog collar and a camera. You think he cared? If she was 18, he'd still be a creepy predator.

Sounds like a relly great guy. Wonder what his "former" clients are thinking about his work. I also wonder what Managing partner is scurrying around to hush up all this bad publicity for A&P.

Just because he was a pervert doesn't mean he was bad at his job. In fact, he may have shown the same dedication and commitment to his work as he did to corrupting minors, in which case he may have been an excellent attorney. I don't think this would affect anyone's decision on whether or not to hire a law firm.

If this guy had been my attorney, I would be upset.

Oh, his clients are in a real bind if he was their attorney. How would you like it if you were his client and you were in the middle of a trial, or working on an active negotiation? And even if not, an attorney is a trust relationship. Wouldn't you question the advice he gave or the decisions that he made, knowing his character? I think most people would.

What make you think he is no threat? What if the next time it is an 8-yr old child, male or female, and he murders victim because he doesn't want to leave a witness? Don't forget, he is a lawyer, though, admittedly not a particularly bright one to take pics of his perversions.

PP, how do you know this level of detail? I haven't read about the wooded area and paraphernalia.

It was on the NBC4 website.

Yikes. The first thing I thought about was his family - is this guy married? The poor wife; I can't imagine the humiliation and I don't even want to. Even worse if he has school-aged children.

Better yet, why don't you invite him over for a bbq where your kid/neighbor kids/nieces/nephews are around.

I cannot believe that people are debating whether what he did was wrong. She is a victim. Period. He is as a PP said "lower than pond scum.

DCUM really sucks sometimes.

I really wouldn't care. Honestly.
