Washington lawyer accused of paying 15-year-old runaway for sex

I guess you're not as "safe" from perverts or anything else even if you DO live in homes worth $1million+ neighborhood and with upper middle class white folks.

Fortunately, it seems that he has helpfully documented his crimes with photographs, which will make it very easy for the prosecutors to send him off to jail for quite some time.

There are many more out there and this creep will be out before you know it.

He should never see the light of day again.

He is a lawyer at a high profile law firm in the area. Somebody on DCUM must know/recognize him. It'll be the end of his career around here, but he will probably be out soon. All it takes is a lot of money - like any other corrupt developing country.

Completely unsurprising. Biglaw is full of sociopaths.

He may not considering the stories of what child molesters experience in prison. I would think Arnold and Porter would let him go pronto as the firm must have a morals clause. I don't have one single bit of sympathy for him and I hope he gets all the things he so richly deserves, soon, and in spades.

Oh please, this guy isn't exactly a child molester. An almost legal young woman was prostituting herself and he took her up on it. The age disparity is gross but to compare this guy to someone who took the innocence of a small, helpless child is emotional and way off base.

Sure he is. He took advantage of an obviously troubled girl.

I am 38 and a 15 year old girl looks very young to me. He knew what he was doing.

10:18 here, I agree with this btw. Still, I can't believe that a lawyer would be so stupid as to commit this sort of crime while ensuring there is ample documentation of it. It's not as bad as molesting an 8 year old, but come on, can't you find an 18 year old hooker? Is that so very difficult?

He is a child molester, and should be treated as such. For those of you who don't think this is a big deal, wait until your daughter is 15. -- Mother of a 15-year-old
