King Charles and Prince William wished Harry a Happy 40th Birthday!

Can't we all agree that the BRF and Harry are OK with the living arrangements. The family is in the UK and cannot move. Harry and his family chose to live in America.

So Meghan and the kids don't travel to the UK? So? Theirs isn't the first family to have years, if not decades, of estrangement.

I think you're reading too much into it. I think this is just a formal, PR-driven acknowledgement of a milestone birthday. If they ignored his birthday completely the optics would be terrible, and they (William/Catherine) would have opened themselves up to a lot of criticism.

+1 Have to be careful when your words could be used to criticize you in a book or on television. Trust has been broken.

Yikes if they only make good choices because they’re afraid of being exposed as awful people in the non-UK media.

That's no way to air family grievances. Of course, there are always those who think it's fine to trash family on worldwide television and in books for $$$; but if that's done, don't expect your family to trust you anymore.

Surely Harry went to Charles and said "you need to shut Camilla and William down with all their leaking to the press" before they felt they had to leave. Charles did nothing. So yeah, they wrote about it afterwards.

Regardless of which people in the family you believe, loving family members don't trash other family members the way we heard Harry and Meghan do in writing and on TV. Absolutely theur choice to do so. Now they need to live with the consequences of their actions. If anyone in my family did that to me and/or my spouse, I would be polite, smile, engage in small talk about nothing in particular...period. Wouldn't trust them again ever.

Loving family members don’t do what Charles, Camilla, William, and Kate did. They are loyal to “the firm” not their family members. Those four and the people who work with/for them leaked all sorts of negative stories—including false ones—with the intent of using Harry and Megan to distract from negative stories about the four of them and because Harry and Megan were popular on their tours. The four of them conducted whisper campaigns against mainly Megan but also Harry. All of it through leaks to “anonymous sources” or “palace insiders.”

Harry fought back by refusing to be silent and sharing what happened himself. If his family didn’t want to look bad they shouldn’t have behaved so badly. Truth sometimes hurts.

Yup, totally agree! It seems like it’s best for all involved.

It’s a nice gesture! And don’t tell William but it’s also a little bit of therapy. Publicly saying something nice about/to your brother, and see? The world didn’t end, it wasn’t so hard. Little steps. Even if one of his many assistants did it for him.

But loving family members do leak trash to the tabloids about you to distract from their own problems and/or take H&M down a notch in public opinion? Sure they do.

Nope. The wedding snd events leading up to it were very complimentary to Harry and Meghan. They're two people who feel entitled and deservedly are basically estranged from almost all their family members on both sides. Truth does hurt.

And this complimentary coverage and popularity were exactly why the firm took them down. Can't have them upstaging other royals. And reportedly Camilla engaged because she was trying to fix her own image.

You just don't want to see it.

Truth is that these two don't really get along with any of their family members except for Meghan's mom. Their priorities serm to be money and their kids. So be it.

Harry was not a traitor, he had no choice but to leave. The palace has been behind a lot of toxic press.
Look into the rehabilitation of Camilla on you tube. It is eye opening and not surprising.
The timing was bad for Harry and Meghan. Prince Andrew needed to be protected and every article about them was not an article about him.

He was a liar and a traitor to his family.

His family is disgusting.

If lack of security keeps Harry and Meghan out of the UK, all the better.

They have a good life in California, why would they want to be on a tiny island?

Now maybe they’ll provide Harry and his family security coverage.

They use “securitay! Our mixed race babies could be murdered in the Windsor Lounge at Heathrooooow!” when what they really mean is “it’s pretty acistray that the crown wouldn’t shut down the internet for criticizing us.”

Even if he dumps her he’s not going to be welcomed back. Hope it was worth it!

But lest William forget, just last year Harry was leaking to his favorite author that Catherine was racist to a baby.

That should never be forgotten.

You shouldn’t be a racist a$$hole to a baby then if you don’t want people to know. DUH.

What did Harry say about Catherine being racist to a baby? I never heard this?

The story is that Catherine speculated about their baby's skin color when Meghan was pregnant.
