Protocol is the basis of public royal family operations. |
Who fking cares op? |
+1 Now maybe they’ll provide Harry and his family security coverage. |
He also pockets an extra 8 million pounds this year, left by his great grandmother, the Queen's mother. She did it to avoid taxes, all her great grand children got a lump sum on their 21st and again on their 40th. |
Exactly- they need to refer to a manual to know whether or not to wish someone a happy birthday |
You mean their PR teams did. You really think they’re posting on social media?? |
Charles’ account dropped it on the grid feed but Wills account only shared to stories, which as we all know will be gone in 24hrs. Also didn’t sign it as W or W+C as they do when it’s something they want to make very clear that it came directly from them. So not sure this should be seen as encouraging vs. something they had to do around a milestone.
Charles comment section is full of vitriol - no matter where any of us stand (and we are not involved in these peoples’ lives) the responses there are certifiable. |
Publicly, yes. |
Oh wow I would have been way more enthusiastic about turning 40 if I'd gotten 8 mill on my birthday! I mean I wasn't super bummed about turning 40 but I would have been extremely excited in this case! |
That’s nice |
First you film yourself kissing on the beach, then you’re on a slippery slope to birthday proclamations |
Why do you care about this? How does it affect your life? |
Many of us care. |
Bah humbug! The "greeting" was encased inside an iceberg. |
This and Will’s new stubble— they’re breaking all the rules!! |
