so sick and tired of gymnastics Olympics coverage

Stop watching then.

I love it! These women are amazing athletes and people. Simone has overcome and raised awareness for mental health issues and is probably the goat. Suni has overcome a massive and scary health issue (two rare kidney diseases that could have killed her in 2023) https://www.self.com/story/suni-lee-kidney-disease The fact that either of them has been able to return to compete at the highest levels and be the best in the world is inspiring.

Jordan is such a positive force and leader. She is “that girl!” Hezley is getting experience and will the future of the women’s team.

The problem is that there are no Russians to watch fall. U.S.A. LOVES to broadcast Russians falling.

Now we have to find kind things to say about mediocre Italian beam performances.

Why so fragile? It is ok to have opinions about famous, rich, or prominent people and the media that brings them to our face.

The whole country cares about Pommel Horse guy today!

You’re out of touch.

Speaking of weird and stupid, pommel horse is an incredible event any halfway awake person with a soul can appreciate by how clutch Steve Nedoroscik was yesterday.

No, some of us were not impressed. He really isn't that big of a deal out of all the pommel horse athletes over the years.

Half of Twitter is wringing out their panties for him and I am here for it. Lord knows we could all use a little something fun, like Clark Kent on a pommel horse.

Let people enjoy things.

And we can say we don't care. Must everything be a consensus?

If you have a problem watching Simone Biles compete, I'd like you meet you in an alley somewhere to discuss it.

I am loving the Olympics more than ever this year. I had things to do but couldn't tear myself away from some of the events, especially gymnastics. I was not into gymnastics as much before and the performances seemed more exciting this year.

Most of the sports seem more exciting this year but maybe that's because they're getting more air time. I'm watching in another country so it might not be the same coverage but it's just so interesting to see passionate people and their individual styles come through their sport in the water, on the court... I also enjoy the different announcers here pulling for their own country's athletes. They're a bit more subtle but it's obviously still there.

You want to start and/or contribute to a thread about a sport you don’t care about? Why, exactly? Seems tragic.
