MOAR TEAM HANDBALL PLS |
Right? I am a water polo fan, and water polo players like to boast that it's the hardest sport in the olympics, but I just watch the pommel horse guys and think -- how can anything be harder than that? |
So? I love it. I'm personally sick of the constant football, basketball, and baseball coverage the rest of the year. But I choose not to watch it and I don't complain about it. Maybe do the same. |
AND THOSE GLASSES! 24 hours ago I didn't know who he was and today I would fight a war for his honor |
Same! And Twitter is on fire. I just spent half a laughing and smiling and rewatching his routine and team's celebration. |
It's just amazing to watch them. My daughter does gymnastics and I love watching kids flip around. I don't care about the scoring tbh.
|
Yes. PP actually said that in their comment. |
Gymnastics is the ONLY sport I care about, and watch it all the time, not just in Olympic years. "We" are not ... YOU. If YOU don't care about gymnastics, then just don't watch it. |
Because she is the best gymnast in the world, by far. |
No schitt....can you even read what you're responding to? |
It’s ok to not watch a sport at all or stop watching if it’s too much. I have not watched one second of gymnastics but I have Peacock. I’ve watched rugby, handball, beach volleyball, volleyball and basketball. |
Yes. Water polo is so much better. Let me do flips and tumbles on a flat surface. Now let me do it on a bar. Now let me do it in a horse. It's all the same. Diving is pretty lame too. More judging crap. Objectively determined events are so much better. |
Have you watched the documentary about her on Netflix? She was in foster care at a young age due to her birth mother's drug addiction and neglect of 4 children. Simone Biles has 4 or 5 moves named after her because she's the first and only woman to execute them. The focus is on her because she is an amazing athlete and possibly the greatest gymnast ever. |
We've ready heard this story over multiple Olympics though ... |
It's Olympic gymnastics, a huge part of the audience is eight-year-olds who don't remember 2016. |
