so sick and tired of gymnastics Olympics coverage

T&F is way better. If you want to win at basically every T&F event you need to be the fastest, strongest, or have the best form. All of the determinants are objective. Any events that require judges, who can be corrupted or have horrible decision making, shouldn’t even be an Olympic event.

The whole country cares about Pommel Horse guy today!

You’re out of touch.

My favorite sport that I never otherwise care about is the men's swimming and diving, I just love the nakedness of it all!

DD looked at the TV and asked, “Why are they in their underwear?”

Someone on the internet said black women will come save the day next week as we always do and up our medal count LMAO.

Because, simply. she is the GOAT. No ifs, why, but about it.

There needs to be far more coverage of things like archery, shooting, and heck, even skateboarding if we are going to watch sports with judges. Gymnastics is so boring and lame.

Simple Op.
Dont watch it.

She’s really good, but she lacks the ethereal grace and softness of classical gymnasts.

+1

No style or smoothness.

We are allowed to have opinions about the rich and famous and powerful. It seems trendy to only talk about them on their terms but no.

Aly Raisman asked the US women’s team (in a press conference) what their team name is. Biles answered that it was “Eff around and find out.” That’s pretty low class.

I love the Olympics and I love gymnastics! I've been watching quite a bit of fencing even though I've never watched it before and don't know anything about it. The arena seems to be set up well for spectators/tv viewing so it's been pretty cool to watch!

100% with you here except for racewalking, which is the most bs sport ever. I can’t think of any other sport where speed is deliberately handicapped and where you’re disqualified for not having proper form. Deducted, sure, but kicked out of the event?

Uh, because she's a once-in-a-generation talent?

Yes, but no additional skills. To me the team sporting events are the most exciting. A few days ago, there was a post on the NBC Olympics IG about an amazing play the US Womens field hockey team made. It was so exciting, and I noticed it had far and away the most likes, comments, etc. of any other post for the whole day (they do dozens and dozens of posts a day). It's clearly very interesting with many fans, yet you won't see one bit of mainstream coverage of it. But T&F, over and over again. Why is that?
