She is not "naturally muscular." That's not a thing. She is muscular because she's trained in the sport for 20 years. No one is born muscular. Her height is an advantage. This is true in so many sports -- height and body shape can make a huge difference. This is why you don't see any 5' basketball players or petite linebackers. But there are lots of short women who aren't Olympic champions. Just like most tall people actually suck at basketball and most big guys wouldn't last one snap in the NFL. |
Truth |
Yeah like how LeBron James just happens to be 6'9" and have naturally good hand-eye coordination and just happens to have the right combination of body type and talent and skill to be really good at the sport of basketball according to the rules set by the NBA. Or yeah Phelps is a good comparison -- just freakishly well suited for his sport and then worked really hard for years in order to dominate it. Totally -- Simone Biles the the Phelps or Lebron of womens gymnastics. The only part I'm confused about is how this apparently is bad and something to be derided. I need that explained one more time because I'm not following the logic. |
Do you have a hobby besides replying to everyone you don’t agree with |
I think those of us on the "Biles is great actually" side of this argument need to take the win. I haven't heard a single coherent, defensible argument and the other side has been reduced to just saying we don't have hobbies or whatever. They aren't even posting points of view anymore. We won this one team, time to pack it up and head over to the Phelps thread to defend his honor next. |
No one is trying to convince you of anything. There are no sides. No one is engaging in you to hear your side as if we are in relationship counseling. You do not matter. |
Except you keep quoting me and replying, so... I think I matter more to you than you want to admit ![]() |
You’re a sad idiot |
Ok so you defend Simone to get attention on the internet so you can feel like you matter. This is your purpose and how you are seen. |
