so sick and tired of gymnastics Olympics coverage

There needs to be far more coverage of things like archery, shooting, and heck, even skateboarding if we are going to watch sports with judges. Gymnastics is so boring and lame.

How can you make it through daily life being so unaware of how things work?

My new fave is that Stephen Pommel-Horse guy!

Right? I am a water polo fan, and water polo players like to boast that it's the hardest sport in the olympics, but I just watch the pommel horse guys and think -- how can anything be harder than that?

AND THOSE GLASSES!

24 hours ago I didn't know who he was and today I would fight a war for his honor

I just looked him up on YouTube. WOW!

That was an impressive performance.

Why is horseback riding a sport? The horses do all the work and they are forced to do it. What a dumb sport.

It won't last, but today I love it

I love the leotards they're wearing today. They're like an Americana candy cane.

Former gymnast here and I agree with this PP and OP. The sport has become ugly and boring. Go watch videos of Nadia Comenici's 1976 routines for comparison. (for example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h60cf63AyYw&ab_channel=USAGymnastics)

Archery? I would rather have an arrow shot up my butt than watch archery. Aim, shoot, hit target. Whoopee.

I actually enjoy doing archery myself. I find it to be relaxing. But watching it? No way.

Yes

Exactly. This is truly the stupidest complaint ever. Go to Peacock and turn on literally whatever sport you want.

This morning I watched kitesurfing…talk about something that shouldn’t be in the Olympics. Way worse than archery!

Love the Pommel-Horse guy!!! It was enjoyable watching the guys!

I get tired of the cutaways to celebrities in the stands. Why do I give a $&@t if Nicole Kidman or Hoda are watching the Olympics.

You’re an idiot who has never been on a horse.

I loved watching the equestrian cross country on that beautiful French estate the other day even though I wouldn't watch that event any other time of the year at all.

My favorite sport that I never otherwise care about is the men's swimming and diving, I just love the nakedness of it all!
