I love mayo-based chicken salad and would be happy with any variation as a lunch.
It does not seem like an odd choice to me and presumably the DH knows his coworker enough to judge what to serve for lunch. |
Somebody pleeeease tell me 35 year olds eat for lunch. |
Chicken salad is gross (as is egg salad, potato salad, etc.) and I would neither make nor eat it. |
The old American Cafe’s tarragon chicken salad was delicious. |
Science found 20% don't like it. So, while the title is stupid, the results are clear. People like mayo. |
Would you eat a lobster roll |
This article is from 2017. And for some, having an entire salad based on mayonnaise might go beyond the amount of mayonnaise they are willing to tolerate. |
I can’t believe any guests want to cross your threshold and listen to you drone on and on and on and on about stupid stuff. |
At least they will have something to eat, unlike at yours. |
Lobster roll with mayo… sacrilege! |
Any decent chicken salad is not BASED on mayo. It's based on chicken and the mayo acts as a binder. |
That's why they put the chicken in there. So, it's not a whole salad based on mayo. It's based on chicken. The reality is that there are no foods that every single person likes. Chicken salad is a reasonably popular food. It's also nice to have something cool and refreshing on a hot day. OP also mentioned the plan to serve sides, so if this person detests mayo they can fill up on sides. I think this is a fine idea. |
NP. The salad is not “based on mayonnaise”. It’s dressed with mayo and other things in the proportions that you decide, as the person preparing it. Have you ever even had chicken salad? |
You know that you need to heat liverwurst. It's not ready to eat. |
Tf are you talking about? Cold lobster rolls have mayo. |
