How upset would you be if husband went to a strip club and didn’t disclose it?

Meh my husband doesn’t do very many guy trips except bachelor parties (which are starting to taper off at our age) but if him and his friends managed to make one happen in Vegas I am sure they’d go to a strip club.

Do we know that he was at a strip club with female dancers? Maybe there's MORE he's not telling.

Are you suggesting male dancers? Well it is Pride month.

It's the hustler club......its meant for men who are seeking women.

OP, you don’t indicate anything else about your marriage. How is it, other than this issue? Also, how long married?

Yeah, but he’s already an established liar - what else is he lying about?

She saw the charge. Read much?

I would be upset. Sleazy thing for a full grown man to do. Is that what his friends/colleagues are into? Seems very low class.

He should not keep secrets from you.

Nor should a grown man get so drunk he is not sure what he did with another woman.

It may not be a marriage breaker, but it would make me less attracted to him.

Explain the level of transparency you expect going forward…and be cautious .

$250 at the bistro and $240 at the club

Sounds like a lot to me.

And he can’t even confirm whether he did more than watch.

Ycch!

I wasn’t happy about it but just thought it was stupid. He was also way too cheap and mature enough (barely) to get a lap dance. So, not an issue at all and we joke about it. But that’s because I knew that’s not his thing.

If he had gone alone or hid it from me, that would be a different story and I would be upset and assume that this was not his first or last time or that he was doing much more in that club just having a beer and watching bored naked women. I don’t care if it’s transactional, getting a lap dance and whatever else goes on in the private rooms is not cool if you are married.

He spent $500

Or that he wasn’t watching other men strip naked!

For your husband to be getting so drunk he doesn't recall going to a strip club sounds like (a lie) its own problem within itself. Perhaps he needs to get his drinking under control.

It is not normal. It is normalized.

In this day and age, watching naked women has NO place in a work-related setting/events.
Are you serious? Isn’t that creating a hostile environment for female employees?

It is 2024 not 1954!!

Have you been on Instagram? Everyone at work is… and what do you think they’re looking at?

A female colleague discussed, at some length, how her husband “accidentally” looked at some bikini pics the other day and now is inundated with insanely sexual stuff, proceeded to describe it, and then told me that she didn’t mind because that’s what everyone is really looking for on there. This is a fairly prominent feminist in DC.
