He was just a weak candidate, for a lot of reasons, but one of which is that he was a kooky conspiracy theorist. The other candidate was also well-known and well-liked, at least to the voters there.

No he wasn’t a weak candidate. The corrupt, occupied party redrew his district maps momths before the primary to shift the demographics. Then they spent $25M on propaganda - that’s more than all candidates in Uk spent for their upcoming parliamentary elections.

We see you.

DP. And we see you. The PP is correct. Bowman lost because he is a LWNJ, lying, fire-alarm pulling, conspiracy theorist. Sorry that triggers you.

Lmao, the guy had a YouTube channel spreading flat Earth, 9/11 truther, and every damned thought that Alex Jones had. He thought that 10/7 was a conspiracy.

He is a big giant kook…I’m just shocked that it took that much to beat him.

I know a few Democratic/progressive activists who are also Jewish who offered advice - the meetings were good but not much walk after the talk. These are folks who are really not fans of AIPAC. Clearly Bowman couldn't make the distinctions.

AIPAC should have stayed out of this race. Bowman was set to lose anyway. Next, Cori Bush. And I'm progressive.

So a Jewish advocacy group should just stay out of a race where one of the candidates is an open and unapologetic antisemite who has literally denied Hamas’ campaign of sexual violence, celebrated October 7th, and called for the genocide of Jews through an Israeli unconditional surrender?

I’m sorry, but Jews will NEVER just sit back and let genocide play out. We learned that after the Holocaust. Have you? Have you promised to never let it happen ever again? Because we did.

And one of the actions we took was to establish AIPAC to fight against antisemitism and genocide in the United States, recognizing how close the US could get to Nazi Germany real quick. And here we are, with AIPAC being attacked mercilessly for defending themselves against an openly pro-genocide government official. Who would have guessed it?

Glad he lost. I hope he doesn't go back to being a school principal now that he is unemployed. He is an embarrassment to the profession. He is not a model for students.

And, there is also this.....

That’s a much closer race than that. But I hope Cori Bush loses her primary too. These deeply stupid, conspiracy theorists, bomb throwing, social media addicted progressives have done so much damage to Democrats. It’s not AIPAC. It’s people realizing that such progressives don’t represent their views or their districts. A lot of these progressives were elected during the Trump era when everything was weird.

Now if Republicans could just take care of their crazy, we might actually be a sane country for a while

A great explainer on why Bowman lost.
