The redrawing of the NY CD lines by someone with no real familiarity of or understanding of communities of interest glaringly shows in this CD as well as many others (see Maloney v Nadler). Bowman would've been fine in his old district, less so here. Neither the residents of lower Westchester or Upper Bronx are served by this CD and hope that the NY legislature can work it out down the road.

The National Black Empowerment Fund is working *against* Bowman.

Yeah I’ve talked about this in the 2024 House thread, my sister lives in this district. I predict he and Cori Bush are both going to lose their primaries.

I consider myself progressive and I’m hoping he and Cori lose. I would have liked to see Talib gone. I think AOC has a good approach to making progress. She’s not a burn it all
Down or “it’s a revolution”
Sanders approach.

After introducing Finkelstein and saying how he's a huge fan, Bowman denounces Finkelstein saying he had no idea about all the awful things he's said and how appalled he is...

You are most definitely NOT a progressive. The appropriate label for you is centrist. You would be more likely vote for Nikki Haley than a member of the squad if they ran for President.

Oh please! Nikki who carries water for Trump? I was a Warren fan. AOC is a pragmatist, she understands how to make progress and picks her battles carefully. Sanders is all bluster and makes horrible personnel choices.

Np- absolutely. I think Bush, Bowman and some of the other “squad” members are grifters. The left’s version is the MAGA grift.

How are they "grifters"?

Bowman is not a smart guy, I don’t think he’s working with a full deck

Mondaire Jones, a Black progressive, has abandoned Bowman over his anti-Israel remarks and is now supporting Latimer.
