NY 16 Primary: Bowman vs. Latimer

Not even close.

“Oh hey we need regular Democrats to vote for our guy in the primary. I know who can help! Ralph Nader!”

Bump on primary eve. I agree with this that Bowman is going to lose.

I've liked a lot about Bowman - not all but a lot - in his short tenure, but he really blew this race. I know a few Democratic/progressive activists who are also Jewish who offered advice - the meetings were good but not much walk after the talk. These are folks who are really not fans of AIPAC. Clearly Bowman couldn't make the distinctions.

Bowman is unhinged. His ranting and raving and cursing- he sounds like lunatic donald Trump at this point.

His anti semitic (no, not anti Israel- anti semitic) remarks about Jewish people in his district are completely offensive.

Every hour he tweets about aipac. If he had a record to run on, or any substance, he wouldn’t have to run a campaign fueled by hate. His commentary on aipac is especially rich considering that his opponent has received far more in district donations than bowman has. Live in the district and am so tired of his squad antics. He’s an embarrassment and unfit for office.

Bowman is done and it won't even be close.

AIPAC should have stayed out of this race. Bowman was set to lose anyway. Next, Cori Bush. And I'm progressive.

+1 He would have lost last time - pre October 7 and pre fire alarm - if there had only been one Westchester challenger. I don’t love how this race has gone (and I’ve been in Jersey seeing these ads for weeks) but I’m glad if he goes.

Why should Jewish and pro-Israel organizations stay out of the race?
